I have always been told that there are two types of people on this earth - basically the one who is and the one who isn't; allow me to give examples.  There are people who cheat on their taxes and there are those who do not. Further, there are those that will run a red light at 3 am in the morning when no on is around and those that will not.

I would however like to refute all that and say that there are more kinds of people on this earth - forgive me for stating the obvious, but allow me to continue.  With respect to the "tax cheaters"  I believe that there are actually four or five kinds of people and "offshoots" of those kinds of people.  Yes, admittedly there are those who cheat, whom I will refer to as Tax 1, and those who don't, whom I will refer to as Tax 2, however, for those that don't there are the occasional well just this once, whom I will call Tax 3, and that's all that it will ever be, truly just that once.  Then, from those that say just this once, there are other outgrowths that can no longer stop and continue but just stop short of those that do actually cheat and do it knowingly, those I will call Tax 3A.

So where does it all end where do we draw the line and say that it just isn't right!  Are the reasons that Tax 1, 2, 3, & 3A good reasons?  Is there ever a good reason to deceive someone?  Are white lies really a necessary evil?

I'll continue in a bit...

Love

Love defined by Merriam-Webster is a strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties as in a maternal love for a child; also, an attraction based on sexual desire as in an affection and tenderness felt by lovers; also, affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests as in love for his old schoolmates.

For the sake of this “treatment” we’ll use the second that love is an attraction based on sexual desire as in an affection and tenderness felt by lovers. For no matter how all may want to debate love and its reasons physical attraction is always the first “attraction”!

We are all familiar with the physiological reactions associated with attraction. Generally, the increased heartbeat, a shortness of breath, for some the sweaty palms, yet in others the hot flash, and in most the feeling of euphoria. The strange thing is that these physiological reactions are the same things that occur when, we get into a car accident, the plane we are in suddenly drops in mid-air, we walk out doors and are met with a cold gust of wind; - the difference? – the stimulus, the incident that occurred to make our body react in that manner! – because of the stimulus the response will be different in all cases - an accident, the plane ride, the gust of wind, or even “love”.

It's strange that I have this notion that I know or am even familiar with what Love is, or what it isn't.  But, remember that this is only my treatment of it and as such will be subjective.

My love life as it were generally isn't anything to write about.  I've had many a girlfriend and many a one night stand, obviously the one night stands not generally situations that I am proud of.  I've had times when I've treated women badly and when women have treated me badly; I can, I suppose attribute all of this to Karma.

I am the type to want to try to understand anything and everything around me I cannot or rather will not leave things alone I need to understand, I need answers, often times to the detriment of my relationships!  It is my contention that to everything there is an answer.  Obviously, many will disagree with me but I think those are the people that have an easier time letting go, and that is another thesis to write!
