| it has been a while, hasn't it? i'm sure you've all forgotten
about apostello, but if you haven't, and you still go to mobap, and
you'd like to help serve the campus, let me know. i can't be in
leadership anymore, and i am looking for replacements, though it
doesn't appear anyone wants to take this. but anyway, spread the
word, and if you or someone you know is interested, email me at
andrewlnagy@yahoo.com. thanks a bunch.

| hey guys. there have been some changes to the way apostello will be going now, so i thought you would need to know.
first, we will not be having normal meetings like we have. all of the opportunities will be posted on this site under the events page, so check in from time to time. once a month we will have the worship service, once a month we will have prayer for the campus, and once a month we will have a guest speaker.
if you have opportuinites you want apostello to endorse, email us at apostellombu@yahoo.com and we can talk about it.
this sunday night we will be meeting in north hall to pray for our campus. if you are a Christian and attending this university, you have a responsibility to pray for the lost here. in chapel today, everyone who was not ashamed of the gospel was asked to stand up, and only a few people remained sitting. if that estimation were true, perhaps there would be more works of love on this campus. as it is, we're left with only a few options. either many were lying, or many were deceived about what faith is, or many have fallen away. we do not attend a Christian school, regardless of the "baptist" in our name, and we need to be in earnest prayer for the lost here. join us on sunday at 9:30 pm.
all right,. i'll get off my soap box, but i have just been disappointed about the lack of service students on our campus have been showing. no one seems to care about the lost here, myself included. let's prove we're not ashamed of the gospel by proclaiming it to those who do not know it.
that's it guys, check on the events page for upcoming stuff.

| hey everybody. last night's meeting went pretty well. our guest speaker was not able to come due to a car accident (don't worry, he's fine), and i was supposed to fill in. however, we ended up just discussing several theological issues, and we had a good time of fellowship. opportunities this week include campus evangelism on wednesday at 12:30pm (meet in bywaters), and we are looking for people to help with winter patrol. there have been no guys who faithfully go, so a group of girls cannot go alone. unless two or more guys sign up to go every week, winter patrol is going to have to limit the times they go. if you're interested comment on this post or email us.
next week we will be having a worship service for anyone who is willing to attend in north hall at 9:30pm. johnny parker will be speaking, so i hope to see a lot of you there.
let's pick it up, guys. we need to be serving on this campus. there are lost souls here, don't forget that. i recommend reading hebrews 3:7-4:13. for your convenience i've included it at the end of this post.
thanks for helping, those of you who have. Christ is supreme, look to Him at all times.

3:7 Therefore, just as the R99 Holy Spirit says, "TODAY R100 IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, 8 DO R101 NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS WHEN F26 THEY PROVOKED ME, AS IN THE DAY OF TRIAL IN THE WILDERNESS, 9 WHERE R102 YOUR FATHERS TRIED Me BY TESTING Me, AND SAW MY WORKS FOR FORTY R103 YEARS. 10 "THEREFORE R104 I WAS ANGRY WITH THIS GENERATION, AND SAID, `THEY ALWAYS GO ASTRAY IN THEIR HEART, AND THEY DID NOT KNOW MY WAYS'; 11 AS R105 I SWORE IN MY WRATH, `THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST.' " 12 Take R106 care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that F27 falls away from the R107 living God. 13 But encourage R108 one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness R109 of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if R110 we hold fast the beginning of our assurance R111 firm until the end, 15 while it is said, "TODAY R112 IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS, AS WHEN F28 THEY PROVOKED ME." 16 For who provoked R113 Him when they had heard? Indeed, did R114 not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose R115 bodies fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that R116 they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? R117 19 So we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief. R118
4:1 Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come R119 short of it. 2 For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the R120 word they F29 heard did not profit them, because it F30 was not united by faith in those who heard. 3 For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, "AS R121 I SWORE IN MY WRATH, THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST," although His works were finished from R122 the foundation of the world. 4 For He has said somewhere R123 concerning the seventh day: "AND R124 GOD RESTED R125 ON THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORKS"; 5 and again in this passage, "THEY R126 SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST." 6 Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience, R127 7 He again fixes a certain day, "Today," saying through F31 David after so long a time just as R128 has been said before, "TODAY R129 IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS." 8 For if R130 Joshua F32 had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. 9 So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 10 For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested R131 from his works, as God R132 did from His.
11 Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example R133 of disobedience. R134 12 For the R135 word of God is living R136 and active R137 and sharper than any two-edged sword, R138 and piercing as far as the division of soul R139 and spirit, R139 of both joints and marrow, and able R140 to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And there R141 is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open R142 and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. | | |
