School: had my last uh undergrad final on Tuesday. :D

Finally bought my cap and gown too.

I have a second round interview this Tuesday coming up.  I don’t know what my odds are at getting the job, but the practice is always good.  I am definitely not looking forward to waking up so early (Hey at least I get breakfast).

Today I am partying w/ my girls b/c I have my last final in my HCC class. I don’t know what I am going to do on Friday nights now. It was kind of cool being the baby in the class.  Everyone except for 2 people in there have at least a bachelor’s degree…about 5 of my classmates have a PhD.

Friday- graduation hopping w/ brownie (the polar bear for the math and science dep.)

                  Jen, Kt, and Vel—9a.m.

Robert—I don’t know the time…all I know is that it has something to do

                  w/ construction.

Saturday- ??? :D

Sunday- Brown Bear is graduating.  I was not planning to attend, but now that I know that my brown bear is sitting on stage…I HAVE to go.  I am ohh so very proud of him!!!

Phi Mu:  Fiesta is just around the corner…very excited.  Y’all need to come watch BROWN & I stunt. Although he cheats on me every once in a while, we are a kick A** team!!!

Spring Break Plans:  Still in the making.  I finally narrowed it down between Los Cabos or Cancun.  So here’s the deal:    Los Cabos:  plane ticket= 500 bucks; but we have an apartment that we can stay at for FREE right by the beach.

Cancun:  plane ticket 334 hotels range from:  400-1600 for 6/7 nights

School:  umm…So far I have given 3 oral presentations and taken 2 exams (and translated two Spanish papers for a friend). Every time I study I just think about spring break or stunt practice. :D

Volunteer:  I went to Texas Children’s last Friday for about 4 hours.  I forgot how much I enjoyed this.  Our first stop was with this 14 yr. old boy and boy did we make his day (10 sorority girls umm… yea he was happy)!  I met Danny, an adorable 2 year old.  She was a little scared of me at first b/c she thinks everyone (except for her mom) is a nurse.  After she realized I was not going to poke her w/ any needles she was so playful. I played pick-a-boo with Erwin.  I met some very extraordinary kids, but there was one little girl that broke my heart…Jodi, a 5 month baby girl that is waiting on a liver transplant.  We spoke to her mom for a good while and it was hard feeling so impotent.  I just wished there was something in my power to help her.  All I can do is pray…so guys I encourage you to do the same (I’m sure they will be very grateful).

I joined an intramural soccer team.  My dad was so ecstatic that he went and bought me new soccer shoes and a ball.

I experienced a live episode of the real world mtv:  It was around 9:40 right before my internal audit class.  Some short little Asian guy walks in, sets his 20lb book down (yea our book for that class is the biggest book in the world), then makes his way to a white boy that was sitting at the front end of the table.  He then SCREAMS OUT, “Why have you been talking about me behind my back”.  He just goes on and on.  At this point the whole class was stunned (it reminded me of high school).  So we all try to ignore what’s going on, but it was a little hard since he was screaming.  We are all trying to keep occupied and kept on ignoring this nonsense when he then blurts out, “I didn’t tell anyone that you were HIV positive”.  From this point a couple of us told him that he needed to calm down and take care of his problems in private.  He calmed down for about 2 seconds and then continued with his screaming. Asian guy:  Let’s go outside I want to have a VERBAL confrontation.  White guy (finally speaks):  if we go outside I’m going to take you down! After the white guy said that the Asian guy backed off and went back to his seat.  CRAZY CLASS DAY(that’s what I get for getting there early).

Birthday Plans:  I know it’s early to think about it, but I really want to plan something this year. I was thinking about a weekend cruise with my friends.  I have a couple that are down for it, but lets see if that goes through. What do y’all think?

Mi lil mama:  she’s just the most adorable thing you will ever lay eyes on.  The only sad thing is that she can say everyone’s name except for mine. :(  yes. She can even say THANH!

Being nice scares people:  I am a very bubbly person for those who don’t know me.  I tend to act on instinct and not really think things through sometimes.  I love to share the little I have with anyone that is willing to take it.  N-e-who It makes me a lil sad to know that people would laugh at my kindness, but I guess that’s life.

Gosh everything just seems to be coming together lately.  Every day I wake up I thank God that I’m alive!  He’s definitely gotten me through some tough times. Sometimes I’m scared that my bubble is going to pop.  Well, I can’t really worry about things that are out of my hands so I’ll just keep my head up high and smile. I LOVE MY LIFE!

Jay did you enjoy the update?
