We made tamales today with some friends we haven't seen in a long time. That was a lot of fun, but it stinks. Literally, it smells so, so, so, bad in our house right now. Some how one of the tamale pots ran out of water while it was on the stove and burnt the whole bottom of the pot. Now our entire house smells like a jinormas burnt marshmallow. NOT COOL. But i'm so not complaining we got some pretty good tasting tamales out of the deal.

LOL. Yeah, Hannah was telling me that last night while we were talking via AIM. Burnt marshmellows, huh? Hmm....I can imagine how that would not be very pleasant at all. :)

Yeah, I heard you stop by...sorry I missed ya. I've been working close to 40 hours a week, so yeah life is real busy. I'll be glad when the holidays are over and then maybe, just maybe, my life will return to some degree of normality!

I love tamales. I have never made them before. If they smell, then I am glad that I haven't. Smells are terrible things...unless they smell like cinnamon. Cinnamon smells nice.

I love Tamales! We used to make them at christmas too....but I don't know what happened because we haven't made them in like.....two years or more...I don't remember.
