what is this reversal technique?

(and if those are your eyes, may i just say that they are gorgeous.)

the reversal technique is when you take an slr, take off the lens (my 18-55) and turn it around, and hold it firmly on my camera body and it makes a free macro. you have to adjust your shutter speed and watch how much light you're letting in, but it's not that hard. i do it with a lot of small flowers, bugs, and obviously eyes. p.s. that's actually my bf's eye.
