We had quite a successful meeting on Friday.. took the club picture (we're so cool, aren't we?) and discussed the Potluck to be held on February 19th, 2007.

IT IS UNTIL 5PM!! COME WHENEVER YOU CAN!!

Join CPHS' Asian Club to celebrate Lunar New Year and Asian culture. It's a potluck so be sure to bring some food~ it doesn't have to be Asian but it would be preferred! Tennis and basketball courts are right across the street, and there's a playground, open field, hiking paths.. all that good stuff. We can even have a barbeque if you really want, hah.

You can invite anyone who's interested in Asian culture or is in any Asian club around! It'll be on President's Day so it'll be a Monday off of school.

If it rains or there are any other problems, please call me (if you know my number) or contact me/Khoi through AIM or email or whatever way possible.

Let's go to Chinatown on March 3rd, 2007 (Saturday) to watch the CHINESE NEW YEAR PARADE.

Our club isn't personally organizing this so I'm not sure of EVERY last detail, however.. "MEET AT WALNUT CREEK BART AT 3PM."

So if you're taking BART from somewhere else.. you can just take it to WC and meet them there!

So as if everyone hadn't noticed, this little thing hasn't been updated in exactly 7 months!

So, I (suizil/lizsui) & my neighbor Khoi (formerly publicist & activities chairsman, respectfully) have been promoted to co-presidents for the timebeing.

I think we should do something for Lunar New Year, or for anything, Amy Tan's birthday, or if not, President's Day..?

So please think about leaving President's Day (a Monday on a three-day weekend) open. That's February 19th, the day after Lunar New Year, Amy Tan's birthday, and.. a holiday. As if you didn't know. (It's also the Sumeragi twins' birthday, but nobody but me cares about that, hah!.. if you hadn't noticed, my sn is sumeragisui.)

If you have any ideas, be sure to share them with me (AIM: sumeragisui) or Khoi (AIM: ruokoi). The next meeting will be the Friday after finals, February 2nd, in Mr. Frediani's room, C-12, during lunch. Please come and share some ideas-- it will possibly be a pot luck, hot pot, or a combo of the two (hot pot luck?!).. or just a random party. Asian stuff and whatnot. Loads of good fun.. or something like that.

I hope you guys all come to the meeting.. let's revive Asian Club! =D.. I'm also thinking of including Northgate's AIYA in the party thing, if you guys don't mind (just cuz I know NG's AIYA officers). I know we're not in AIYA anymore, but it's still nice to meet new people from other schools.. or old people, if you're a Kaiser kid and you pretty much already know everyone (hah!)..
