| Just please pray for me... |

| The FinaleFor the last two years I have been posting pretty regularly on this site. It has been a great place for me to post my thoughts, concerns, pains, and dreams. Ive also just had fun reading what everyone else has had to say. This blog has two years of memories written all over it and I think the time has finally come to move onto something new. Blogging has actually become a new habit of mine and I like to make it a ministry when I can.
For this reason, I am starting something new. I have just begun a new blog called "Called Out: Confessions of a Breaking Heart". On this new blog I will be discussing the ups and downs of the call to ministry. I am no expert but Ill be posting as I learn more about being the man God has called me to be. You can visit the site at http://askme4theway.blogspot.com. I really would ask that you bookmark the site and continue to comment from time to time. Ill still be posting much like I have here but it is my hope that it will become a ministry to other readers following this same path.
Please also continue to pray for me. There are many challanges ahead in my call to ministry and my pursuit for a loving, Godly wife. Specifically at this point I ask you to continue to pray for me and Ashley. Tonight we had to let go of each other a bit more, this time causing even more pain for the both of us. We both have so much to discover in our lives and learn about ourselves. It has been such a blessing getting to be with her. Please pray as we both continue to let go, sacrificing our desires for Him!
Again, thanks for everyone who has been reading. I know I sound really wierd being sentimental about all of this but this xanga has a lot written on it. It has personally meant so much to me.
In His Grip, Matt |

| - ClarityLookin Up and AheadSo this weekend has been a good one. The group is back together and I am back with the friends Ive spent my entire life getting to know. We have all spent the last couple days hanging out together and today we are heading to Six Flags before the high schoolers get out! Half the group is already there and the rest of us leave in a couple hours. It will be fun.
I also accepted the job at Preston Trail Community Church yesterday as their summer youth intern. The kids are amazing and I cant wait to be helping Ryan out in ministering to them. We kick off the next summer with Concert in the Park in Frisco's Central Park next Wednesday.
I have also needed a second job as this one is limited in what it can pay. God dropped a huge blessing in my lap last week when I got an interview with Imaginuity Interactive, a creative firm based in Downtown Dallas serving several huge clients like Cadbury Schweppes (owners of Dr. Pepper), American Airlines Center, American Red Cross and others. I got the job and Ill be doing all the same stuff I did at Artistry with several new opportunities. These two jobs together will provide some amazing experience!
Im still having a hard time with some things but God is truly blessing me and I am excited to see what He has in store for me throughout the rest of this summer. |

| GradesSo grades went online yesterday afternoon...so I had 5 Bs and a C...it could have been better but I am so thankful it wasnt worse...I honestly expected it to be...There were so many little things that I could have been more diligent about and brought up the grades a bit higher. I dont think it will take much to turn some of those into As...I know it would be amazing for me to pull for next semester.
On another note...
This is one group I am proud to call my brothers and sisters...
