| I cant believe i actually watch this show twice, two nights in a row...
Yea, it's that good! the first time i walked out that theatre, i felt something was missing.... it wasn't enough only the second time (today) i came out satisfied LOL the show is on til sunday, dont miss it! Another funny story. last night the seat was on balcony (3rd floor) the stage seemed close enough and i never knew i missed out so much until today. today i actually got the best seat in the whole theatre, literally literally best. right in the center of the row, center of the theatre, first floor! i m just so thrilled coz' i picked up those ticket like an hour b4 the show started! it's like those tickets were reserved for us but i also learned a lesson: dont buy ticket with ticketmaster(.ca). their so called "best available" seat are the worst available.... i dont understand why they try to sell their worst seat first and leave the best seat ticket available at the door, but that's how they sell tickets... Prove: i got L36,37 (30 and 45 is the center section "aisle seat") at the door 6:30pm - exactly 1 hour b4 the show starts. b4 that, i search on ticketmaster online at around 4:30pm. if i need 2 tickets sitting together, it would be VV something (way after Z). then i checked for single hoping for better seat and the search result came back P45 (which is still 5 row after L and aisle.....) weird... | | |
| 3 brothers and sisters (i dont think i know any of them)
people disappearing
a scavenger hunt game
pick up hints that leads to the next thing
you score by doing the right thing in the hunt, i.e. correctly decipher a clue, picking up the next item...
a huge hotel with very interesting architecture, and almost feels like i have been there or seen it in my some other older dreams too
the lobby elevator only goes up to the lower half of the hotel building (stopping at every floor in between). from there on, there is an elevator shaft between each floor (basically each elevator only goes between say... floor 10 and 11, then 11 and 12)
there is another longer elevator that stops at the top floor where the lower elevator can reach and the top floor but nothing in between
all the elevator shafts are on the outside of the building.
the sister tells me that although her bf was one of those who first disappeared and did nothing throughout the hunt, his score is high. she thinks that her bro used to treat her bf so bad that these "free" score is for compensation
i worked with the sister most of the time.
the elder bro came along with us but he doesn't talk much.
he's the host of the hunt
the hunt lasts for days
all 4 of us (the brothers and sister) live on the same floor of the hotel. i share a bed with the sister
after the younger bro disppear, the elder bro tol me that i can have the younger bro's room. and the elder bro sleeps in the corridor between my new room and the sister's room. he said something that night, when i first had the room, to me which i dont recall the content
all we do is going from places to places for the hunt, everyday, in a downtown like area (tall buildings)
i think i experienced about 2 to 4 days in the dream? no recolllection of daytime tho, all of the action happens at night
whenever we picked up a clue, everyone else in the same building (huge office buildings) disappear and all the lights would go out. i.e. the whole building turned pitch black
there are probably thousands of other contestent, but i dont think i know or met them. i think i might have seen them walked by working on their next clue but not a word between us
the elder bro is probably the one causing the people to disappear, vanishing out of thin air
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- this dream has much to do with my daily life lately i think. currently reading "the problem of philosophy by Bertrand Russell" - this links with the mass vanishing just spent the night drink in the downtown area - this links with the settings met this new friend brad who has 3 siblings - none of the "bro and sis" was him tho dont understand why the scavenger hunt and the detailed yet weird hotel.

| It took me a year from hearing about this award winning documentary to actually watching it.
One cool thing is that this is one of the fastest 700mb i ever downloaded from mininova. Over 200kb/s Avg.

| Fuck it. i m brain high
it's 6.49pm. i have to work at 11pm. haven't seen candy for so long and we went siu yeh after work. the 2 of us talked from 4 to 9 this morning, solid 5 hours of silentless conversation... =_= then went home. trying to finish up with Grey's anatomy season 2 before i go to bed. then this new hot vet came out of nowhere. i thought his face was familiar so i imdb him. he's Chris O'Donnell!! my god... what happened to him. he went from robert (in batman), to the bachelor, now TV series!? should i feel sad for him or is he persueing something he likes? He's so pretty i, for a moment, want GA to end right there and let him and Meredith have a happily ever after. LOL
then i slept til 3. made another appointment with frankie to try out her gf's new business. also, a little bit later, unexpectedly agreed to show up at my friend's boardgame session before work! Realizing i only had 5 hours to sleep, i was so worried i m gonna be exhuasted at work, so i tried to put myself to sleep at around 4.30. But for some reasons, my brain is flying everywhere. all these "assorted" thoughts keep flashing in and out. and finally, i gave up my sleep attempt to a sudden Sudoku urge (by 6pm). Results show that i m really brain high:
Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day! Basic (first 4 puzzle, Non-tutorial of course) 2:32 1:54 (i remember i had 1:4x in Brain age 1 Basic level, this is fastest in brain age 2 yet) 2:49 2:08
Intermediate (first 3) 6:19 (donno what happened there, i only got airplane speed) 3:38 (beat my next best time by 14 sec) 5:38
Advanced (the 6th one, second row second column) 8:43

| I love my craziest dreams.
This time, i was in a virtual-reality university. It's almost like Matrix, but you do not have to plug stuff into your head from behind. it's a "global" college or acadamy; i dont have the name of it in my dream. But the idea is that all universities in the world are linked together to this ONE big university. people from all around the world attend the same university. no more racing technology research between countries or different university faculties. all of the most brilliant minds join forces to a common goal - future of human welfare. The university is free. Everyone in the world will attend it - hence no more choosing Oxford or Yale or MIT. Everyone in the world, unaffected by locations, will get great education if they seize the oppurtunity. Top end expensive research will be funded by world bank and other courses, professors, TA's will be supported by combination of sponsorship-like relaitonship between their local government and volunteering.
It was 1 vague dream. I remember me seeing a professor in his office, very typical seen-in-movie-type of room: wooden desk, wooden chair, wooden bookshelves full of books and a huge window behind the professor's seat with immense light feeding in XD. I dont even know what i was discussing or what i was studying. But one thing very interesting is that professors, i.e. all faculty staffs, are Named by an address. They have a choice of their first address, the home which they were born in, or their current address while registering. I asked a schoolmate why that is. And he told me that the reason for using addresses is because addresses are created with ease to sort by principle; human names aren't. The professor i was talking with was "Broadway Lane" or something. (you know dreams, you just never hold on to some infos) Fun eh?
I think it can be a great setting for another futuristic film XD. | | |
