It just makes me think about dynamics.

And the way that sometimes life is quiet and sometimes it's loud.  The way these voices collide in treble tones and sympathetic noises.  Makes me think about those times when a whisper does more than a scream ever could.

Makes me think that sometimes shorter is better.  Sometimes saying less means more.  Sometimes it’s the silence that counts and that’s why I concentrate on the shallow breathing.

So we stand here, voices bouncing around these four walls, drowning in words way too big for us.  Squinting out at our futures, hoping that clichés fit the feelings and photographs capture the sunsets.  Stand here in the places we’ve made our own, losing our words and finding this balance between a smile and sadness.  We’re clicking our tongues off the roofs of our mouths, they’re adjusting mortarboards on their heads, and we’re all looking for something we’re not really ready to understand.

We’re talking loud, but it's all over our heads.

Wooww...will yew merry me? (for the sake of irritating your love of proper grammar and such)
I have their new album too..
It's been leaked, apparently.
But whatever, we're cool and exclusive according to this cd.. because we've got something thats not even out yet :]
And yeah, I agree with you about the love for apologies more than this new cd.
Maybe it's just because when I first heard it, it was just something completely new to me music wise.  In high school I didn't really feel the need to expand my taste in music further than the radio, so when my friend introduced me to them I was in awwwe.
And harhar, that same cool guy who works with me in the office doubles as a delivery guy, too..
I think you've lost me on the bands now, though.
So.. sorry I'm not cool anymore ;[
I'm always willing to expand my music library, though, if you want to name some more bands and such :D

life's just a whole bunch of equilibrium and balance made normal between extremes, yep. loud and quiet i can understand. it's either headphones on or off. people can't seem to deal with a bit of quiet though anymore. the ipod's always gotta be on.

i can't find my damn highlighter. i've been looking for it since last year but i probably lost it. i don't use it, though i could. i don't need it that much to go out and buy another one anyway. nothing a little pencil underlining can't fix. and yes, doodling is proportional to the difficulty because difficulty is usually measured by boredom, yeh? makes sense!

i suppose the world is smaller than it seems.

Yes!

I've slowed down now, and taking my time to read this.

You have enough words to sustain our hunger.

It really takes my mind away. blows it farther. & farther.

hey you know, everyone interprets that oddly.  My little brother had an electronic toy that broke, and it started ringing.  We couldn't get it to stop so my mother threw it in the trashcan.  My house is loud, so nobody noticed it was ringing and we kept throwing things away on top of it.  When we turned off the television and went to sleep I could hear it from the trashcan.  It kept me up all night because I was too scared to dig through the garbage.

Sweet, because I have HORRIBLE eyesight.
You can come see for yourself ô.o hahah
But yeah, Im actually thinking about changing my major.
Youre right, it would totally take away the love for it all if I made it a career.
And I -really- hate how theres deadlines to make certain things or whatever.
I wouldnt consider myself an artist, but when I do get in my 'artsy mode', I like to take my time, which is something schools dont consider often.
Plus, I like to challenge myself.
I -like- thinking and making my brain work harder than it should hah.
I love math (well, spare geometry.  Im an equation person, not a shape & proofs person), so maybe I'll go in the medical field with you.
I was thinking about being a pharmacist, but I hate science..
But anyway, it's also a reason why Im with this company, because we do deal with numbers and we help people.  Thats all I really want.
If I could 'save' someones life, or a whole family, thatd be amazing.
And with the money Ill make with this company, I could just open up the art gallery that Id like to open.
Its sort of a win-win.

So it's been a while. I've been busy with AP testing, art creating and what not.
I can't believe I didn't read this post until today. It's so short but so so sweet.
How did your finals go? I hope they went well.

Happy Sunday.

Do you ever wonder if maybe we don't really have any power over what happens, as if everything has truly been mapped out for us? And maybe if we looked closer we could see all the signs and feel confident that what we're doing, what we're hoping for, is meant to be.
To be honest, I sometimes feel silly being so hopeful. Foolish, even, at times.
