I am very tired today dunno why, didn't sleep well last night?

Was talking to ron abt this funny thing, have a client meeting with a Finance Director in Chatswood for job pick up. Normally I wouldn't go to see this level of clients as they are quite senior, but Matt and Helen went to meet her 2 months so I went there with Grant. I've been with Page for 7 months and Grant for 5 months. The most shocking thing is the FD came down with the CFO of the group, I didn't know who he was, I just know his name and when we looked at the business card - his title is CFO of Australia and NZ, we were wooooooooooow - 2 little prawns meeting the "shark" haha  but yeah the coffee meeting went well.

Went to the city office for accounting support meeting with the new AD from New York, never had this kind of intense training. He's very directive and straight forward, luckily it wasn't my turn to do role play otherwise I'll be super nervous.

Maybe of the training, I'm very tired~~~

Anyways, should go to bed soon.

 OUR 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!

It's our 1 year anniversary on Friday. We both stayed at home alone for the whole week as we had to prepare stuff for each other. On Thursday nite, when I was abt to go to bed at around 11ish, rewatching prison break 1, ron called and told me he's abt to take shower blah blah, I asked him to wait till I finish 1-2 more minutes of the episode and he refused, I was quite pissed at tat time coz can't he just wait for another 2 minutes to say goodnight before he goes to shower otherwise I have to wait for 15 minutes. Anyways, after he've hung up, I was ready to go to bed, then I heard some knocks outside my unit, I thought it's my neighbour who has another girl knocking at his door so he can let her in (too many girls knock on his door - quite used to it). This time was different, the sound of it wasn't the knock on his door coz it lasted for a couple times, I was so scared coz dunno who's outside my apartment until ron rang me and told me he's outside my place.

Ron came over with 2 big boxes and a card. One for 1 year and then another one for my bday. I can choose to open either one, but obviously there is a recommended one to be opened.

What's in it????

A giraffe soft toy with a hot water bag inside it, the special thing is he actually inserted the hot water bag inside the soft toy and he had to attach the zip to the giraffe. It's very cute  also, there was another pink blanket inside the box, it will keep me warm while I sleep during winter time as at the end of the blanket, there's a place where I can have my feet all wrapped *sweeeeeet*  (I really really really like it). Thank you for all the sum yee and effort!!!

On our actual night of celebration, ron took me to summit for dinner, I was so full afterwards lolz. We supposed to head back home and sleep early as we're meant to watch sun rise but we couldn't get up in the morning hehe. I was so tired as it's my first week back to work after the jury service, bit exhausted so I couldn't even see the bunch of roses on his desk as I rushed back to bed straight away.  In the end, we got up at 9sih and headed to Crowne Plaza for breakfast buffet, it's so nice as there are fruit, cereal, make your own juice, coffee, omellet and other stuffs as well. We had a super big breakfast then went to Eastgarden to watch KUNG FU PANDA, it's so funny. We watched the early session at 11:00am, there were so many kids around us, but the movie was funny. Tat's abt it, I had a great time and feel very lucky to be with you.

Thank you for everything

Back from Melbourne...

I really really had a great time there, at least we can fly away from Sydney and go to some other places that we dunno. Walking around in the city and beach, very relaxing!!!

I wish we can stay longer keke

Left early in the morning at 6:40am, arrived Melbourne airport at 9:45am. Took the shuttle bus to city centre, then our first stop was DFO, bought a couple things there. We were super surprise to find the middle size "green" giraffe, now we are just missing the big size orange giraffee and then we'll have 3 full sets of 3 different colour of giraffes. After DFO shopping, we caught a train to the first hotel in South Yarra. Left our luggages there at Como Hotel, then we had our quick lunch at this werid cafe (seems like we're back in the 50's) and shopped at Chapel Street. There were so many boutiques and shops there, we walked around for abt 2 hours and bought more than 5 things there. Super happy coz everything was on sale so we dun really need to think before buying. We were so tired after the crazy shopping, napped, swam then headed off to the city for dinner and to casino afterwards. Only played pokies at casion, dun feel like playing barrat or blackjack, we in the end won $1 lolz (better than nothing).

Went to St Kilda Beach early in the morning as it's not tat far from where we first stayed. We didnt' have time to go to Philip Island to watch penguin, however, we were lucky enough to see one "lost penguin" (probably from the Island) swimming alone in the sea. It was cute and we were sort of tracing and see where it went. Had a nice brekkie there and then headed off to get our luggaes and move to the second hote in the city. We sort of have some expectations from Grand Hyatt, but wat we saw was Grand Hyatt is under construction, the lobby area was so tiny, I guess the only thing better was a better view room otherwise the service was so much better at Como Hotel :) Then we walked around in the city to take some fotos of the museums and stuffs and the remaining day ended up shopping again, it's basically the same for the last day. It's more like a shopping and eating trip to Melbourne, it was soo funny how we just ate 2 crepes and after less than 10 minutes, we went to another place for supper (pork soup noodle and 1 JUMBO claypot fish soup) - very fatty.

We spent so much $$ there this time especially for the flights as it's a long weekend. My sister went there 1 week before me and the flight was just $79 for single and we paid like $200 single -___-" I guess tat's the difference being a student. Oh wells, this flight is more like celebrating our 1 year anniversary, my promotion and his found a new job  Everything good happening at the same time!!!

But yes, I had a great time!!! It's always good spending time together!!!

The past 2 weeks were just hectic, there were so many things on my plate.

Had 3 days training in the city with the grads, got to meet up with everyone it was good. It was pretty intense as we did like couple role plays, we had to take turns and did it with the Associate Directors of different disciplines and it was scary . I had to do the candidate call role play, made the call in another room and the AD picked up the call - OMG *shivers* but then it's really good practice. Just realised how close it is to work in the city, just like 15 minutes for the whole journey. It's not too bad going to Chatswood now as my baby is driving me to work everyday in the morning and after work kekekkeke *sweeeet*  Thanks baby, I really do appreciate.

During those training days, I didn't really have time to go through emails and stuffs, had to go back early and stay back after work to ensure everything is done. All the effort is paid back now, I finally made my first placement TODAY for a candidate, the role was really competitive, and I was lucky enough to find the right candidate  Made my budget for this month. There are really lots of ups and downs in recruitment, had my up this morning with the final written offer, and downs with the wrong candidates sent down  omg it's soo hard to find right candidates for this role *sigh* so stressful. Also, I really hate candidates who promised to come and never turn up to interviews argh  I can't believe how much work there are to be done everyday. Got the standard targets to hit other than moneywisde, but at least it's very motivating, not boring at all. Going to another client event on Wednesday, Mecca Cosmestics wahhahahah  I guess its' going to be fun at least we can get some tips for make up hehe~ I was actually quite sick today as I hit my head towards the corner of a cupboard (argh - need to blame ron and he was trying to block me in the kitchen) - get him to massage my head tonight arhg arhg arhg  *angry* so wanted to take half day leave, however, this week we have 4 days which makes it harder for us - so didnt' take the day off in the end. It's funny how the whole team was eating snacks for the arvo - manager was eating big size burger king, cam had big size twisters, paddy had big size salt and vinegar, H had small size burger king, Matt had cup noodles and I had small size salt and vinegar - seems like we are promoting the smith brand here lolz

It was my manager and Paddy's bday, had a big dinner at El Bulli on Elizabeth Street - super nice. A new place to take my friends there, we had heaps of food. It was a bit odd when I was there coz there were like 25 ppl, and 22 of them were from UK, 2 are AUSSIE AUSSIE, and I was the only Asian - well but Matt took good care of me - he has always been nice to me~ They all went to Cross afterwards, I didn't join and went home to find ron

We are thinking of where to go this weekend, both need to save some $$ dun think we will go far~ Javiers Bay or Blue Mountains??

We'll decide later
