i survived my 1st week at gallup ^^
though am not really sure where some things are exactly heading during the probation period, encouraging details are definitely lightening me up and am getting hyped about the ohama trip.
however, socialization seems to be pretty limited with the editors [mentor and i] + the researchers occupying a personal section of the floorplan while the others work on the further end. but for now, am happy with the newly established relationships. given my usual "whatever. i dont give a fuck attitude", i would even say that i've done a pretty good job with the people i genuinely like, though i still relish most in the lunches with seed and jac.
though, this does not mean that i enjoy waking up at bloody 630am, putting on loser heels and running up escalators with em in my bid to catch the earlier train. i also detest being crammed and pushed around while trying to catch a lil stand-snooze. and we all hate it when the idiotic train terminates at yishun o.o there has also been very lil quality time spent with the lovely furkids [which i fully intend to make it up during the weekends].
i guess this is something that i'll just have to get used to, so we'll see how the 2nd week goes.

even after repeatedly reminding myself that i should not indulge the furkids with their pellets and herbs, they still ended up being overfed. =(
in fact, zed² got so heavy that he decided that it simply took too much effort to hop around and resigned to placing all his weight on the hide paws : sore hock.
many thanks to the wonderful dr grace heng who risked incurring the wrath of the other patients clamouring in the clinic, just to manage his wound and all.
and ... i finally got my gown after anal-ing over the phone for 30 mins.

had to pop by nus to collect the academic dress + was mildly put off by the light cerise colored hood.
it just feels wrong to wear baby pink for a graduation ceremony. hmmm ...

As we are currently in the midst of preparation for the upcoming Gown
Distribution and Commencement Period, we may not have access to this
email account. Therefore our reply may take longer than usual. Please
bear with us and we will reply to you as soon as possible, in the order
the enquiries were received.
If you have missed the online ordering of the Academic Dress, please go
to the Multi-purpose Sports Hall 1, Sports & Recreation Centre, on
the date scheduled for your degree to rent or purchase the Academic
Dress on the spot. Please refer to the Academic Dress Collection
Schedule, which will be published on the Commencement website below for
the details.

For fast order processing as well as convenience of fellow graduates, please come on the day and time scheduled for your degree.
If you are not able to come on the day allocated, you can still collect
within the Gown Distribution Period (25 June to 30 June 2008). However
please be informed that the waiting and processing time for you will be
longer as we will be giving first priority to those who came on the
allocated day/time.
Our Operating Hours for the Gown Distribution are as follows:
Weekdays: 10am to 8pm
Saturday: 9am to 8pm
Sunday: Closed
If you need to make changes to your online order, kindly come down to
the Multi-purpose Sports Hall 1 during the Gown Distribution period to
make the changes on the spot.

i didnt miss the online registration.
i sent out my cheque.
i stayed at home waiting for singpost to deliver my stuff.
no postman, no graduation gown, no graduation package.
i sent high priority email and called like 7 times a day : no response.
i am soooo going back to school on saturday to wallop the stupid coop. fuck.
