Catching up!

I know it has been ages since I last posted You're right Shelby, it's been dead since July  Hoping that this post will resurrect it

Here's my update:

In mid October I left for the Philippines. It was the best visit ever! My mom who has dementia (forgetfulness) still recognized me. She was happy most of the time. It was a great favor from the Lord. My Dad has mellowed down and quite a bit humble which was a real praise the Lord. I made sure that I'll have much time with my family. Most of which was bringing my Dad to his doctor appointments. It wasn't easy but satisfying.

My friend Jody Wittnebel sent money for the poor. We distributed sacks of goodies to 200 families. It made me really happy to see poor people blessed. We distributed tracts also.

Came back on Nov 7. Took the rest of the week off work. By then, my work load was so much that I had to work long hours. I can be workaholic if I don't watch out   Most of November was spent working and resting.

December started by Bruce getting sick which meant we could not see his relatives in Minnesota. We had Christmas dinner with our friends here at home. New Year was a bummer! I got sick with a flu and still suffering from it. I'm way too bored laying down. Thankfully, I have a DVD on human anatomy. I'm studying the Nervous System. I have forgotten a lot since my college days.

Love to all!

Sorry, it's been a long time ;-)

Dear Ones,

I don't know where to begin since my last post!!! Well, My friends and I hosted 2 Filipino dinners to raise funds for the school in the Philippines. Both were successful...a testimony of God's provisions. It was lots of hard work but well worth it.

In June, Paul, Chris and I went to Louisville, KY for the Transplant Olympics. It was great to be with so may people who have overcome lots of obtacles in life and yet still live life to the fullest. I competed in Volleyball and Track. Didn't do that well but plan to better next time in Pittsburg, Lord willing. Paul offered to train me in table tennis. Let's see how that'll go

I was in New York/New Jersey last week to visit my long time friend. We were in kinder and highschool together. It was such a delight to see her and her family serving the Lord. Another classmate came all the way from Vancouver, Canada. We went to Times Square Church on Broadway St. I had a glimpse of heaven. As soon as I entered the building you can feel the presence of the Lord. No wonder the apostle Paul said that to die is gain.

I'll be doing lots of travelling this year...much to my dismay! Meantime, enjoy the rest of the Summer. Pretty soon it'll be cold again...ugh!

Grant, I'm sorry I haven't post a comment on your site but I visited it once. Good one.

Cassie, thanks for your email. Whew, it's a long one but I enjoyed reading it You have a flare for writing.

Shelby, Kayla, Marcus and Zach...thanks for your comments. Hope to visit your sites soon.

Gotta run or we'll be late for church. Love to all!!!

Garage Sale and Graduation :-)

Dear All,

I trust everyone is doing well and staying cool My friends Leroy, Bette and Joleene had a garage sale to benefit Filipino kids who otherwise who not afford to go to school. We made pretty good money which will support the teacher and the school for 5 months. We'll have a fundraising Filipino dinner in Mt. Vernon on June 9 and July 7. I pray that the Lord will favor us with good money so we can expand the school and also buy more books for the kids. All proceeds go to the Philippines. The Lord has provided for these little ones so marvelously that nobody can take any credit for it. The Lord is wonderful and I love Him so very much!!!!

I worked for 10 hours yesterday. Rushed home and sped my way to my friend's daughter graduation party. I debated about going since it was pretty late. Sure glad I went because it meant so much for her. I'm sooooooooooooo very happy that tomorrow (Sunday afternoon) is my last graduation party I'm going to. I can jump for joy!!!! I'm partied out

Hey Marcus and Zach, your are both very funny. Anybody can call me Auntie Jing I kinda enjoy it. Thanks for the nickname.

That's all folks....

What a Deal!!!

Went to my friend's surprise birthday party. She came to know the Lord not too long ago. Gave her a book by Nancy Leigh de Moss, Lies Women Believe. Hope she reads. After the party, my friend Elena and I went to the Mall. What a deal we got!!! We are a pro in shopping. We got a $79.00 boots for only $4.99. Only problem is, we'll have to wait another 6 months before we can use it

Last night we went to Nate Thornberg's graduation ceremony and party. It was a blast. Great to be with the young ones. Still lots of graduation parties to go to. By the time this month is over I'll be graduation out!!! And probably bankrupt My prayer for all of them is....they stay away from bad company as they pursue their goals and more importantly, that they love the Lord above all.

I noticed I'm the only one with very plain site. My creativity is applied somewhere is

Love to all...

I'm Baaaaaaaaack!!!!

Life has been very hectic but getting quieter now. I'm finally done with data at work...whew!!! Our lab is moving to a bigger lab so I must have walked over 5 miles just going back and forth from one lab to another. No treadmill tonight

On Thursday (May 4) we'll start a new study here at my house. I'll be on refuting the Da Vinci Code. It'll be great since the movie is coming up and we need to be able to answer those that have questions.

Well Casie, thank you for your encouragement. Here I am with a new post

Take care everyone and keep your eyes on Jesus!!!
