| A bunch of us went to visit Christen yesterday. It was a pretty somber day.. We got there around 3:30 but didn't get to see her until about 5. We had to split up into groups of 5 to visit Christen... I think Queena's group was the first to go. The guys came out with blank pale expressions on their face while the girls, their eyes were red... I finally got to go after the 4th group. Christen had always been the cheerful and happy person in my mind, but yesterday, it was really different... she was just laying in the bed with all those machines hooked up to her.. and sleeping... I told Christen to hold on and that we all miss her.. Even though she didn't respond.. I could tell she heard what I said.. We all got a bunch of flowers and a big card that everyone signed, hoping that she will wake up soon to see it...
The drive to the hospital was about 2 hours, located near the border of southern Tennessee. If anyone wants to go visit her, you can probably set up a visit with her sister, or you can let me know and I call her sister for you guys. The hospital is called Erlanger Medical Center.. the address is:
