More pictures!!!  yay!!!! we have reached the point of our deployment where I have more time to catch up on the things that I haven't done.  For example, picture posting in Xanga.  Enjoy!!!  I'm counting down the days of returning to be a normal individual.

Well like I promised, the more pix on my promotion....It was pretty nice, a lot of people showed up which I didn't expect.  Well here are the pix:

SSG Wong getting promoted.

Danny pinning my rank on the other side.

Talking to the Lieutenant Colonel after getting pinned on.  To his right is my roomate and good friend Danny pinning me on and drilling the rank into my chest.

Me goofing off after.

Could this be a profile picture?

Captain Huaylinos, messing me up in formation.

Getting hit on the collar by EVERYONE who attended the ceremony, chest is sore.

The ICU "click" missing a few people.  But all will be remembered.

The Three Musketeers

The Workout Group

As we begin to prepare for redeployment, there will be more and more events that being said, more pictures to come.  Stay tuned......

Finally, I've waited long enough for a permanent promotion orders.  It has finally happened.  I don't know why it took so long, but its here.

Sergeant (SGT)                      TO                    Staff Sergeant  (SSG)

No one is more professional than I. I am a Noncommissioned Officer, a leader of Soldiers. As a Noncommissioned Officer, I realize that I am a member of a time honored corps, which is known as "The Backbone of the Army". I am proud of the Corps of Noncommissioned Officers and will at all times conduct myself so as to bring credit upon the Corps, the Military Service and my country regardless of the situation in which I find myself. I will not use my grade or position to attain pleasure, profit, or personal safety.

C
ompetence is my watchword. My two basic responsibilities will always be
uppermost in my mind -- accomplishment of my mission and the welfare of
my Soldiers. I will strive to remain tactically and technically
proficient. I am aware of my role as a Noncommissioned Officer. I will
fulfill my responsibilities inherent in that role. All Soldiers are
entitled to outstanding leadership; I will provide that leadership. I
know my Soldiers and I will always place their needs above my own. I
will communicate consistently with my Soldiers and never leave them
uninformed. I will be fair and impartial when recommending both rewards
and punishment.

Officers of my unit will have maximum time to accomplish their duties; they will not have to accomplish mine. I will earn their respect and confidence as well as that of my Soldiers. I will be loyal to those with whom I serve; seniors, peers, and subordinates alike. I will exercise initiative by taking appropriate action in the absence of orders. I will not compromise my integrity, nor my moral courage. I will not forget, nor will I allow my comrades to forget that we are professionals, Noncommissioned Officers, leaders!

More pictures on promotion to come later on.

Wow, I didn't realize I haven't written that much lately.  It's been over a year since my deployment.  Many things have changed.  Especially the people you count on being there for you.  But one a good note, my return is getting closer and closer.  A lot has been on mind and many unhappy things as well.  But today was the day, all hell has been let loose.  I feel so much better.  Let's see how long this can stay.  Hopefully, when I return things will start fresh and I would not be aggravated easily.  Well before I do come back, got some pictures, enjoy!

Fort McCoy, at first we started out as greens.

And then we advance to desert tans.  That's me using the phone to call someone?  I wonder who?
