| Year's Recap...Well what can I say...and where to begin?!
I guess that first semester was a pain and drag with CA treatment. hm...14 hours of classes...made some friends...primarily girls though (Angelica, Erin, Ivonne, Ashley W., etc.)...considering I am a PRE-NURSING major...but I also made a lot of other friends that were non-nursing majors (Jason "Panda", Calvin, Justin W., Julia, JoJo, Alex, Cari Beth, etc.). Don't have alot of fond memories of 1st semester though...
BUT SECOND SEMESTER! MAN! Where to begin...let's go with extracurricular stuff... (1) Student Congress Nursing Senator Chair & Student Affairs Co-Chair (2) THIRST Leader (3) Nursing Constituency Council Pre-Nursing PR (4) HOSA @ UTA President (5) Conference of Student Governance Assocations - UTA Delegate (6) Arlington Nurses Student Association CPR Instructor
Awards & other Honors... (1) UTA Outstanding Freshman Leader 2005-2006 (2) Volunteer's Leaders Scholarship - Student Congress (3) Outstanding Constituency Council of the Year - Nursing Constituency Council
Next year's leadership extracurricular activities... (1) Nursing Senator Chair (hoping to be the Student Affairs Co-chair...won't know until the beginning of the semester) (2) Nursing Constituency Council Pre-Nursing Vice President (3) Arlington Nurses' Student Association PR (4) HOSA, TA State PS/C Vice President (5) Nurses Christian Fellowship Secretary
Jobs next year... (1) KC Hall Residents Assistant - Nursing (2) Arlington Nurses Student Association CPR Instructor (3) Medical Center of Plano Cardiac Rehab Nurse Tech
I believe that this really was my semester...so many friends (Congress President Josh Sawyer, Congress Program Director Zac Walker, Science Senator Robert Reyes, Engineering Senator & COSGA UTA Delegate Amanda Urban, NCC President Christine Simpson, RA Rodger Jones & Desiree Gardner, HOSA TA Secretary Osama Hanif & Secondary VP Beverly Patuwo...this list could go on and on and on...)...so many experiences...so many memories (volleyball 3 nights monday-thursday for 3 hours at least, study party's in the study lounge, election campaigning, COSGA, etc.)...*Sigh* I can't believe that my freshman year of college is over already...next year's gonna be CRAZY with everything I'm gonna be doing...that and all the people that are transferring to UT and all...
However...I do wanna give a HUGE thanks out to everyone that really made my first year of college unforgettable!
