I've been reading Nicholas Wolterstorff's "Lament for a Son."
This has to be a heart breaking book. It's about a father's lament for the death of his son.
He writes as a Christian, but he is also brutally honest with his feelings and thoughts.

It's an easy read but just going thru 10 pages is devastating.
To read something like this makes you realize the wonder and brevity of life.
