Sorry it has been a while since I posted about Mom.  Busy with everything at church and school starting back.

So, mom's oncologist and radiologist cannot decide if her cancer is truly back or not.  Right now, she is taking a stonger steroid to shrink the non-cancerous mass pushing into her airway (not operable based on location).  And she's on another antibiotic to help with any infections.  So for now, all we know is that she will have another bronchoscopy soon to see if they can get a correct sample. 

 

 

I talked to mom last night, and as all of us expected, the bronchoscopy results are inconclusive.  He did not biopsy any of the things that were shown on the PET scan.  She's in the process of talking to her oncologist about what to do next.  Please just lift the whole situation up in prayer.  I'm afraid the longer she goes without treatment, it'll be too late.

She has a bronchoscopy scheduled for 6:30 AM tomorrow.  I pray that the docotr is able to get what he needs to determine the type of cancer and whatever else needs to be done.  I'm going down there tonight.
