Praise the Lord, I have a job.

I am off to kids camp on Monday.  Pray for me, I've never been.

God bless everyone!

So a lot has happened since I last updated.  I was contacted by the BMMI office to see if I would like to go on another medical mission.  I told Doris that I couldn't because I didn't have the money and that I was looking for a job.  I got off the phone with her and realized that if God is in it then I didn't need to worry about the money.  So I wrestled with the thought for a week.  Have you ever wrestled with God?  It's not fun, I don't suggest.  Anyway, I have been under a lot of conviction about whether to go or stay.  I even talked to Bro. David about it.  After a lot of prayer and a lot of God saying, "Tosha you said you would go wherever I sent you?" I'm ready to give in and let go and let God.  I believe that if God has called me to this trip to the Dominican Republic then He will provide all of the funds necessary to go.  Praise the Lord I almost feel like I have been saved all over again.  Such a burden has been lifted that....well, I don't know, but I feel better.  God always provides has been my motto for a few years now.  How could I possibly put limits on God by saying I don't have the money or the time?  God is so good.  I don't know who all reads this, but I am asking to please pray diligently for the funds, that my parents will be more accepting of the idea, and that God would get all of the glory.  You know, the Bible says that to gain your life you must lose it.  I feel like my life is spiralling out of control except for this mission trip.  Please pray!

I'm coming to Weatherford tomorrow (Wednesday).  I'm spending the rest of the week with my bestest friends Allison and Merlie!  I love those girls.  I hope things are going just fantabulously!!!!

Alright, well where do I begin?  I moved almost entirely out of my apartment here in Weatherford this weekend.  It's pretty sad.  We don't have anything to sit on, nothing to watch, no tables to set our drinks on, nothing to microwave with, no cooking utensils, silverware, or bakeware, no way to wash any dirty clothes....the list just keeps going on.  I moved back to my  hometown and in with my parents.  It's not too bad.  My parents are pretty cool cats and my brother is way cool as well.  I don't think it's going to be that bad.

I was a hostess this weekend for a very good friend of mine who is getting married next month.  It was exciting seeing her and her fiance together.  They look so happy together.  The girls in the wedding party are really nice too.  It was great to see a lot of people who I have grown up around and with.  I even saw Mrs. Richey (my senior english teacher) and Mrs. Hallmark (my freshman english teacher).  It was wonderful to be surrounded by such loving women, there are many, many more than just those two, but it would take me days to list all of them.

I decided on Sunday afternoon that when and if I ever get married, I don't want cake at the wedding reception.  I want COBBLER!  There isn't a cake in this world that can beat a good homemade cobbler.  I'm still holding out for a super man to sweep me off my feet!  Someday.....

I hope everyone is having a great week.

Relay for Life was this weekend.  I was on Committee and had so much fun!  What a blessing it was to see people come together to raise money for cancer research.  I can't say I didn't shed a tear as a woman whom I've known my entire college career walked by wearing her purple survivors shirt.  How amazing it would be to say, "I had cancer, but I beat it!".  WOW!  Just thinking about it gives  me Godbumps!  I am so humbled to announce that we raised $70,500.00 for cancer research at this year's Custer County Relay for Life!  Wow again!!!!!!  Anyway, I just wanted to share what happened this weekend at Relay!  God bless!
