Happy 4th!

It's been awhile, so I figured I should post something. All is well. I'm keeping busy. Blue Man is going onto a 14 show/week schedule for the next 2 months, so, between my 2 jobs, I'll be working 5 and 6 days per week (alternating) and at least 41 hours/week. As of mid-August, there's a 6 day/week magic show going in over at my casino job, which means I likely will be offered full-time there, which I'll take.

My guy and I are together, and going strong. We're seeing ALOT of movies...going out to eat ALOT. Just having a good time.

I've lost 25 pounds and am feeling great!

So, how are you all?

I'm watching the Tony Awards and one thing to say... Julie Taymor did one HECK of a job with the Lion King!!! I'd love to see that show!

Y'know... one of the earliest concepts I can remember ever learning was the golden rule... Do unto other as you would have done unto you. Otherwise known as, put yourself in the other person's shoes. Why is it that most people, nowadays, seem to have issues with this concept?

It's official: I'm a union member!

Monday, March 17, 2008

OK...so I'm a xanga slacker....sorry!!! For the most part there's not much going on at the moment. There were some issues with the DMV last week....but, in the end, after 5 hours running back and forth between the dmv and the courthouse, I got some apologies and everything worked itself out. I'm still working a good bit. Not as much as I have been in the recent past....but I'm still making more than enough to pay my bills. More than anything, I enjoy working a lot because, well, I'm a workaholic. I get antsy when I'm not anything. Luckily, though, I'm right down the street from my gym and I've been doing AT LEAST 40 minutes of cardio 5 times a week.... recently, it's been an hour or more. Mom's coming out here for spring break, from April 3rd through the 15th....that should be nice. She's insisting that I keep my regular workweek..... really just because she finally wants some time to herself, to sleep and read and the such. She works way too hard.

I took my drug test for the union. I passed it. So, whenever I want to get things moving, I can just go down to the hall and start scheduling calls and classes and the such.

So, that's all that's going on. My life is boring. How's it going with all of you?
