| hi from australia! the toilet water spins in a clockwise direction and so does the sink... so in fact it is the same both down here and up north. the corialis effect doesn't effect the toilet!! i'm spending lots of time in the sun and having tons of awkward moments with the family. I'll explain these later, but lots of funny stories to be shared soon. I'm spending so much time in the sun that my makeup is not the right color for my skin anymore. I look like a lost little mexican in this country. it's so weird. i've been here a week or so and only seen one black person, a couple people of aborigine descent, and me the lone mexican. not that i identify myself that way or anything but seriously i stick out like a sore thumb. anyway, there are tons of surfers over here and hopefully i'll be catching myself a few waves before the next week is out. This is the life! I can't wait to retire and live an amazing life in some amazing place.... *sigh*.... | | |
| Thsi weekend was a blast! Isaw the chronicles of narnia which i LOVED. I saw the preview for the new pirates of the carribean. can i just re-iterate that i am gaga over johnny depp? Had lots of laughs this weekend. Went to my cousin marco's graduation and was extremely excited to see my family. my grandpa yelled "es mi hijo" which really made us look like a bunch of mexicans but it was overall hillarious.
saturday night consisted of going to vivo's an awesome mexican restaurant off of manor. it was so yummy. we then headed to downtown where we danced and laughed the night away. it was such a blast and the fun didn't end, even when we were looking for a cab. martha is my awesome cab-buddy and protector. thanks for saving me from the shady men martha! Our cab-driver was a little rough then we woke up to hang out with friends and eat pancakes. it was awesome and the pancakes were fabulous.
tomorrow jon leaves to begin his trek back to austin. i am beside myself. i can't believe that he is coming home. i feel like a little girl. I mean, the man of my life is actually driving down here to be with me. to live with me and hopefully we won't go through this ever again. i don't think i could handle him moving away for another year and half. it was crazy but we've grown a lot. holy crap, he's fucking coming home. i'm so excited! | | |

| holy crap it's been so long since i've written in my xanga. short version/update of my life as follows:
Jon is moving back to austin around the 13th and although i feared the result of his moving away, i'm also hesitant with him moving back. it's quite honestly way too good to be true
Teaching is going great, i love my kids (not to say that they don't give me ulcers sometimes though!)
My weight has been up and down recently, i keep going from the size of eva langoria to korinna-the-hippo. I'm hoping over this next two weeks i can quickly get to eva langoria shape in time for australia
I turn 22 on Friday. I never thought i would live to be 22. Not in a morbid way, but my plans always ended there. Then again i had always planned to be engaged at the age of 21. (psss jon, you have till friday)
I bought way too many christmas gifts for my mother, but she's going to look so cute in the outfits that i bought her that i just couldn't help myself.
I totally dug james blunt on snl this past saturday. His songs make me secretly have a huge crush on him.
Speaking of crushes, new crush on Ralph Fiennes. Him and Johnny Depp, are the only two who are on my "who i would leave jon for" list.
The Harry Potter movie was freakin AWESOME!! I'm planning on re-reading the series over christmas. Hopefully jon won't mind!
Seeing the Chronicles of Narnia for my b-day. Quite thrilled at the prospect!
Bought the shortest skirt i've ever owned in my life, so much so that it comes attached with a pair of panties. ooooo la la
my room is now complete. perfect bedding, perfect desk, it just looks perfect. For those who saw it when i lived on an air mattress i have since upgraded.
Going to Australia for christmas, planning on taking advantage of the whole topless beach thing. it just seems like it would be freakin awesome to say i did that when it is so out of my character
the harry potter club is doing fabulous. We never seem to run out of things to talk about! Word up to Martha and kush!
