fate?

If faith is a belief that there is a higher power and/or a higher order to things. Then it is also a belief that this higher power has created a greater purpose for everything around us; our lives, and the matrix of interactions of our lives with one another.

And if fate is our belief that there is a predestine path for all of us; a path that this higher power has created for us within the greater order of things. It is a belief that everything will be ok because everything truly does happen for a reason.

Then hope is our way of controlling our fate. Its a belief that we can, in some way, control our own paths and that everything we do is for a purpose, despite the hand of time and fate moving forward. Hope is our faith that the choices we make, whether good or bad in the eyes of others, are the right choices for us individually, and in time ultimately will lead us to a place where we are happy.

Buddha Acts in Mysterious Ways…

Today a huge weight was lifted off of my back; a weight that caused many a sleepless night, and a weight that has grown to become overwhelming as of late. And although once upon a time it might have brought joy and happiness for the past few months these glimpses have come far and few in between. It is interesting how much something so essential in today’s society can be the cause of so much stress both on the body, mind and indirectly on friendships as well. Most would think that such a loss would cause anxiety worry and pain; however I feel quite the opposite.

Today I have felt something I haven’t felt in what feels like years. I felt the feelings of anticipation, excitement, and freedom. And what, might you ask, has caused this new found happiness? …… Yup…. That’s right… Today…  I got fired!!!

PS… I thank all of you who have helped me earn many a hard earned dollar with countless hours of chatting and surfing. So what’s next? Let’s go DRINK J

Have a great day everyone….

What did you have for lunch today?

I had dim sum w/ my coworkers... it was so weird being treated like a caucasian person.. the waiter would go over each item and ask for us to respond yes or no to each freaking item... man that was annoying.. i swear he was there for 5 min before went away... and then when he came around again with his cart he would do the same thing again... i swear he asked us if we wanted crab balls atleast 6 times today... i mean come on now.. if i said no the first 4 times u asked me if i wanted fried crab balls (which normally are really good btw... u gotta try em)  what makes you think i'll say yes the 5 or 6th time.... Anyways, besides that dim sum was surprisingly good considering we ate in dublin... Have a nice day :)
