Fun Day at Vanlandingham Farms

Here are some pics of one of several "Fun Day" trips The Fort Gibson Church of Christ Youth Group is taking this summer.  These pics are from Vanlandingham Farms where we fished, rode horses, played basketball, softball, and just basically did nothing for an entire day.  It was great!

Detour Zone 2007

It's been a great year of Detour Zone.  We have averaged between 25-40 middle school and high school students every Tuesday for snacks, Bible class, and free time / games.

Below: Puppet Workshop for Kids.  This was cool.  Instructors Pat & Jeff  using big puppets which are holding on to smaller puppets dressed like the bigger puppets to demonstrate effective puppeteering!

Next year, the Workshop will be hosted at the South College Church of Christ.  Bible Bowl will move to Friday night to make room for more "how to" classes on Saturday.  Possibilities include classes on:  teaching, preaching, songleading, & women's roles... plus puppet, bulletin board, and drama workshops.  Hope to see you then!
