Isn't it ironic that when one dies, that's when people start to take notice of that said person? Someone from my high school class died this week while jogging at UF. And yet again, she was actually in IB with me so I had classes with her for 4 years. It's crazy, like 2 people from my class are dead, as grim as that sounds.

And today I saw "Wristcutters."

I got my first paycheck yesterday. Sweeeet. Working towards paying off my insane credit card bills!!!

Umm...yah...I don't know what to say....nothing majorly exciting going on...I just work...chill....go out sometimes...that's about it. I just always want to sleep.

Got back to my roots last week....went out to Long Island then Queens....good times.

Life's been pretty good lately finally.

I got a job with a textile designer in SoHo. I start on Tuesday and I have this 2 week trial to make sure I "fit" in but I'm sure I'll be alright. It's really, really small company so it's personal which is really cool.

I still intern at the magazine....it's awesome. I love the area (minus the tourists). And I'm literally down the street from the Empire State Building.

Damn, my birthday's approaching already....where did 21 go?!?!

I absolutely hate the show "Greek" on ABC family. My sister watches it and I kinda do but there's things on the show that pisses me off so much. I sure as hell am not in a mainstream sorority (obviously) but some of the shit on the show annoys the hell outta me and I don't know why. I'm in an organization that you earn what you have rather than have it just given to you (unlike the show) so I don't know why I'm so annoyed. Ahhhh....

Yehhh....I have an internship right now (to beef up the resume some more) but I freakin LOVE it!!! It's for a magazine and it's a damn dessert magazine which means FREE FOOOOOOD!!!! My first day and I already had free ice cream. Today, I got a box of chocolate. God, could this be anymore of a fat kid's dream?!?! But to balance it out, I walk almost everywhere in the city (though the heat does play a major factor of my succumbing to the subway). And my boss is awesome and I'm learning stuff that FSU never bothered to teach. I'm still looking for a full-time job but as for now...to make ends meet....I may work at Barnes and Noble....I like books haha. (Maybe snag some HP leftover ads???) I dunno where I'm gonna work but I love my internship wayyyyy too much....

Not that I update Xanga but I gotta say that starting tomorrow, no one in their right mind can reach me because I will begin my hibernation for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. My phone will be off, I refuse to go online until I inhale that book, and I'll probably be in my room drinking my sorrows away for whoever dies....

With that said, ONE MORE DAYYYYY!!!!!

So...Jersey. It's pretty cool. Driving is kinda fun and crazy. I had an interview on Monday and they're gonna find freelance jobs for me. So I'm not sure if I should still look around or just wait for them. Hopefully I won't have work between July 11-18 because one of my friends is visiting but I do hope to have a job/project by the end of July. So I'm trying to live it up and enjoy my time before I become a 9-5 person.

Annnnddd I got my IMAX ticket when Harry Potter comes out woohoo!!! And I reserved my book at this independent bookstore in SoHo and they're having the most awesome release party...it's geared towards grown-ups which means music, drinks, and no kids :)
