Josh and I are back on the house hunt again.  We decided to stick to one goal a week for each of us.  My goal for the week is to get in contact with a new realtor that his brother suggested and make a list of houses to drive by.  Josh's goal is to find out if he can re-enroll in school this fall.  We are hoping that this will keep us from over stressing and going freakin' nuts.  The only reason we got back on the house kick is because we went to Cromwell to visit Josh's brother, Aaron.  Aaron and his fiancee, Amy, bought a house.  I guess they just fell in love with it when they saw it.  It is really cute.  I mean it does need a little work, but its such an adorable little farmhouse it is totally worth it.  They have a nice big yard and a barn and plenty of space.  The neighbors are far enough away that they won't be hearing every little thing.  I of course was completely jealous because I am so ashamed that I even live in this crappy apartment.

Work has been going a lot better except I made a really really boneheaded mistake and I was really disappointed with myself.  I am putting my best foot forward though.  I am really trying to put my best food forward though.  I think that I'm finally getting into some kind of routine.  We are interviewing people this week to get our hotel fully staffed.  I also got a job offer from one of the ladies that stay at our hotel every now and then.  She isn't 100% positive she is going to need anyone yet, but she said she will keep me in mind.  It would be 1 or 2 days a month and I would just take her elderly mother to get her nails done and maybe run a couple errands.  It would be a nice little way to make a some spending money.  It was just nice she thought of me.

Shamus has a vet appointment this week so I have to make sure I get all the bills paid and have money in the account to pay for his stuff.  Poor thing is sleeping right now...he is pooped.  I think I'm going to wake him up in a bit though and take him a nice long walk.  I can't sleep anyways because I took a nap.  I think that I will do that and maybe try and sleep again after that, but then again he doesn't seem real interested in waking up from where he is curled up in a ball...hehe.  Poor thing.  Well, maybe I will try and get some sleep then.  Night all.

It's Shamus' birthday.  Poor thing we had a sad event though.  Early this morning our fish, Carl, bit the dust.  I was pretty pissed because I think the newest fish, Icky, brought a bacteria into the tank. 

Shamus already got one of his treats....a giant biscuit thingy with beef stuff in the middle.  Right now he is watching 102 Dalamatians.  Then, later we are taking him to my mom's so that he can run around and play outside.  We are going to get him a new toy at Big R later.  Josh and I are going to drive past some apartments too and see if we can find anything else.

I cleaned the house like a mofo last night.  I got the bathroom, spare bedroom, linen closet, and livingroom done.  All that i left to do is my bedroom which is never very messy and the kitchen which is always incredibly messy.  I will wait for Josh to help me with that one.  It will be so nice to have a clean house since I gotta work all weekend.  Plus Sunday night is Josh and I's date and I want it to be absolutely perfect when we get back.  After our night out we are going to come home and I'm going to light a bunch of candles and have us snuggle up with a movie.  The only sucky part is that Monday I have to be to work at 8am on Monday.

Well, I better get some stuff done, I will update more later.

I just feel blah.  I was all ready to get some stuff done after work, but it didn't happen that way.  I made dinner with Obi and then did absolutely nothing, but watch tv.  I dunno what happened.  I just don't feel like anything.  I think part of it is just I'm so pooped from the day I had.  I got a ton of stuff done, but I was running here and there and everywhere.  I just am a little short tempered lately.  Maybe I will gain some motivation here pretty soon.  It would be nice.  I'm not holding my breath though.  I want to get stuff done so that tomorrow I don't have to do anything on my day off, but since we aren't spending money there really isn't anything for me to do anyways.  I can't wait until Sunday when we start spending money again.  Josh and I have cabin fever from spending all of our days off sitting around or sleeping.  I'm really glad that I'm not working tomorrow though.  It is nice that my schedule will be a little bit broken up.  Although, my patience is really running thin with the scheduling at work.  All these people have these restrictions and they bitch and moan because they want hours, but then they complain about the days I schedule them.  I just think that if you really want to work and really want the hours you will take what you can get.  I will be so happy after next week though.  We have a few interviews so we may hire some people and then there will be a little more flexibility.  All I know is that if we hire another person I'm getting my damn Fridays off.  You would think since I make the schedule I would be able to have one day off a week that I want.  Well, bitching about this has given me some motivation to do some cleaning.  I will update later.  Bye all.
