I'm not sure how I feel about it

So, my sister and I just got back from the beach tonight...we were only there for a couple of days but it was nice to go and not have a beachless summer.  My parents were staying at this really nice little place, I really like the idea of bringing my friends there(or someplace like it) for spring break...we'll see.

The summer is coming to an end.  I am anxious to get back to UD for band camp and then school.  I especially can't wait to see how my little competition with Chris is going to end up

I am really excited for school to start, I really want to have a great year.  I want to work my ass off, I want to practice for hours and I want to make it a great sophomore year.  I am just as nervous as I am excited though...I am not so sure I know how I feel about some things, oh well...We are suppose to have a new professor who has their PhD in Organ and will be working with the music ministry at UD.  I really hope they offer some kind of program, whether it be the Church music certificate or an actual minor in music ministry, either way, I really want to be involved with music ministry this year.

Ok, I am out.

They are discontinuing Diet Berries and Vanilla Dr. Pepper

So I have been working all summer at the teeter...and so I have lots of "great" stories about many "great" customers....

I find one of today's customers somewhat funny....this lady, maybe in her mid 40's, is ringing up and the cashier finishes, gives her her total and how much she saved using her VIC card(lets say $12.35).  So he hands her the receipt and says"...and you save $12.35 today" *gives receipt* and the customer just stands their as if waiting for something and then asks"well....don't I get it back?"...you see, the customer before her asked for cash back and she clearly overheard her saving money and then witnessed her receiving money.  So, we had to figure out why she thought that she got money back and then had to explain that the lady in front of her asked for Cash back on her debit card.  The lady then wanted to know then how she is saving her $12.35...We explain that in using her VIC card that much money was taken off her total amount.  So the lady then asked"well, don't most people have these VIC cards?"...and the cashier said "yes, ma'am" and she replies"so...then none of us are really saving anything."*takes groceries and leaves*...

Another lady today...
is in her 30's, she's young, healthy and plenty capable of taking out her own groceries.  I bag for her and notice that since she is only in her 30's, not pregnant, with 3 screaming children, handicapped or have a cart overflowing with groceries(or too many heavy items), so I don't bother to ask if she needs help out...so I kneel down to get more plastic bags on the rack and she says to me"you might just wait to do that...I am driving around"...now, this was a command, not a request.  So I look at her and say"well, I'll finish this and then meet you around on the side"...So, I am thinking how ridiculous this lady is...the heaviest item she has is a 12 pack of beer in bottles.   So this lady drives up in a huge escalade. I approach the car with some groceries heading towards the window to see where she would like them and without rolling an window down or anything she just points straight to the back...some people roll down a window and talk to you, most actually get out and help, this lady didn't bother.  So I go around back to find a trunk of shit.  I could barely fit all the groceries(not including the beer)...So, I don't have room for the beer, and I did not want her getting home and having the beer fall out and break. So, I close the trunk get the beer and go back to the car but she's starting to leave.  I run up to her waving my arm and continue to until it was clear she wasn't going to bother looking in her rearview mirror.  So I bring inside to customer service and tell them what happened and to put it back.  Half an hour later this woman comes up to me on register 1 and accuses me of taking her beer!  Lori from customer service comes over and asks her what she could help with and the lady said "this bag boy took my beer when loading my car"  Lori had to explain to the lady that she drove off without so much as a thank you and that if she had given the person who was kind enough to put HER groceries in HER car that the mistake would have been caught.  The lady left pissed off....after she asked me to get her beer.
