NEW THINGS

there have been alot of new things happen in my life, most of which i wont talk about here. but, i have once again been reminded that i do not deal well with change. is anyone else like that? i've been told that some people really thrive on change. i am not one of them. i think i would be ok in the same place for the rest of my life, provided i like the place. i grew up my entire remembered childhood in the same house and my mom still lives there. i love my mom's house. it has all my memories in one place. i like the feeling - secure.

laura doesnt deal with change well.. but as we both have experienced change more and mroe she is starting to deal with it. but still yearns fo the stability of knowing we will be in one place etc.. you are not alone :)

it's funny b/c i think would fall in the category of thriving on change. i'm always hungry for new adventures and tackling the challenge of some big unchartered territory of life. and yet the season my life over the past few years has been generally void of major changes. it's been a frustrating albeit necessary lesson for me in patience and the like. isn't it like God to direct our lives against the grain of our personality? how strange and wise his ways. love you friend ;)
