Reason to SucceedThe wonderful love of Jesus is freakin' awesome! I can't believe how unreservedly and passionately He loves. It's crazy. He's crazy. I'm crazy in love with Him. Here's an update for those who are confused. I graduated school last March- probably for life. My summer was filled with selling knives and road trips. I worked for Cutco, and made some cash. It was a blessing, because I got to travel. But I hated it all at the same time. I'll explain it to you when you're older. As for the traveling, it was awesome! By the end, I was sick of car rides. Weird, eh? After about a minimum of 70 hours driving in cars (those were only trip hours in the car, not work hours...), I took the weird 3rd driver's test for Ontario- AND FAILED! LOL. That made me laugh. I failed mainly because of the 4 LAW VIOLATIONS during my test. Who would have thought that going 4 km over the speed limit was that bad... I had it on my heart to go to Redding, California seriously as of last November 2006. It was sparked during a revival time when Jesus rocked my world in a new way, and with that He placed a hunger to see more sides of the coin than I had been shown. Let me put it this way: Have you ever wondered why there are verses in the Bible that talk about the works we will do being greater than those that Jesus did when He walked the earth? Dude. Raising the dead, healing the sick, cleansing lepers, casting out demons. That's what we're told to do. But instead we are found sitting in church services that are way too boring to make an hour long, especially because all we can think about is the lunch menu that follows the service. Maybe that sounds harsh. I meant it in love. I'm guilty too. We sing about blind eyes being opened... Whoa Virginia, now is not the time to preach. AnyHoO, I know some of you guys heard about this desire of mine, because I talked about it a lot. Just coming down for a visit some time. Just a visit. Catch the vision, the Spirit. See if the stories were true, about there being more. Just a visit. Now I am sitting in the church's lounge two weeks into my training under Bethel's School of Supernatural Ministry. I don't know where it got switched from a two-week-visit to a nine-month-school year. God can do crazy things like that. Ah! I feel like I could go on, but I know most of you might be lost. oh well, suck it up Here's a quote my friend and leader (John) just said a couple of seconds ago: "Failure is just a reason to succeed." Read it again. It's true. I'm losin' it, and I can tell you are too. I'll be back soon. Love and Jesus to you! |
