Just Today

Today. NOW. right now. this very second.

I need to really start livin life each day, not planning who I will marry and what EXACT list of criteria he must meet, yadda yadda. Not figuring out what country I could serve God the best in. What kind of people God wants me to work with. What kind of church I'll go to. What hobbies I will keep and which ones I won't.

I'm 21 years old, single, in college and working. And THAT is enough to keep me busy for today and this week- so that is what I will focus on.

life question

if we disagree/don't see eye to eye with someone or something- what should our role be? Stay and try to reform it? or leave and pray for change....

We don't GO to church- we ARE the church.

to evangelize to a person is to say to him/her: you too are loved by God- and not only to say it but to really thinhk it, and to RELATE IT TO THEM SO THEY CAN SENSE IT.

be the healing body of Christ to our sin-sick world

What says more about who  you are in Christ- how loudly you say amen! in the service or how well you treat the strangers in the foyer??

REAL LOVE always shows itself in ACTION.

become a spokesperson for those who have "no voice". Be relentlessly suspicious of your comfortable life, and the comfort zones that render so many Christian fellowships insensitive and ineffective in our coummunities.

Walk off the edge w/ Him.
