Does anyone else remember 'Freak-a-zoid'? or 'No parking on the Dance Floor'? What about 'Fantastic Voyage' ? I stumbled on the youtube videos!! Wow, takes me back to 8th grade and Break Dancing!! I wasnt doing the breakdancing, I was too busy with Culture Club singing 'Church of the poison mind' and 'Karma Chameleon'. Small town punk with Sheena Easton hair!! Good times! Good times, indeed!!

Where is spring? When I ran on Saturday the sleet was stinging my face!!! I dont know about the weather where you are, but we are usually in shorts by the time March comes around!!!

For those of you who don't live in Georgia...just to give you an idea how hot it has been....it's 8:22 PM and it is 97degrees!!!! It was 103 earlier...so I guess it has 'cooled' off 6 degrees!!!!

Did you ever have have an outfit that you thought was ok? And then one day you realized that the outfit you once thought was ok is really hideous? Let me explain...I was unsure what to wear today...I thought I would wear black pants and a pink sweater set. I quickly thought through my day to see if I need to be very professional or not. It is one of my better looking outfits but is not as comfortable as others. You know you have to work in some OK outfits with the great ones so you don't look like you are wearing the same thing every week...so I went with the white pants and blue casual shirt...

The UPS guy gives me smirky looks that could be construed as flirty or just weird attitude...not sure, but today he was leaving the building as I came in to work this morning and I could swear he checked out my butt! I thought "he must be flirting" ...later as I went to the bathroom I realized that I had worn black underwear with white pants!!! I didn't change my underwear!!! Uggg...I didn't have time to go home to change underwear! Our regional Vice President was due to visit later in the day. I thought I could sit at my desk and no one would notice my butt...It worked for a little while...but our VP wanted to take everyone to lunch. I suggested that I would stay behind man the phones. But he insisted that the whole office go to lunch (there are only 6 in our office). So I tried to not let anyone behind me but when we got to the resturant, we had to walk up stairs to our table. I tried to be last, but the guys are too gentlemanly...I don't know if they looked at my butt or not. I just dont think i will wear those pants again except for a picnic or something. I felt soooo, well, bad...I need a good outfit day tomorrow!!!

I backed into Ken's car on Sunday!! I was too upset to take pictures. I wish you could have seen the damage. Let me mention that my husband baby's his car. He takes great care of it and in fact, he had just washed it on Sunday afternoon. Usually on Friday or Saturday, he washes his car and puts the cover on it until Monday morning. So this past sunday, I hopped in my car with the kids to go to Target and backed out. I hit the front passanger side head light and surrounding area. The damage on my car is only about $200 dollars (actually $600 if we replace the bumper, but I can live with a few scratches). But after the adjuster assessed the damage on ken's car, it was more than the car is worth! (ok, i'll take a picture tomorrow and post) Now we have to figure out if we will repair it anyway or just buy a new car! He kept asking me why I didn't see his car. Finally, Ken said: "you didn't look did you?" I couldnt really say that I had looked. I just assumed there was nothing behind me.

Saturday morning...8:30 a.m....45 minutes into a 58 minute run...Milledge avenue..."Sexy Back" on the i-pod...sunny weather...55 degrees.. sidewalk comes up to greet my hands and knees...I look around to see who saw me gracefully sprawled out on the sidewalk and see the shoe store called "Slippers"

We returned from our vacation to Legoland one week ago !!! We had sooo much fun. I doubt that the boys will ever forget that trip. Just flying on a plane was an experience. On the way out, the plane had tvs in the seat back in front of us. So we could watch the news or food network or what ever. Or we could rent a movie.

Legoland was amazing. San Diego was amazing also! If I didn't love Athens and the south so much, I would live there. Let's just say it is on one of my acceptable placed to live after Birmingham, Alabama and Ashville, North Carolina. Everyone there was so easy going and healthy. I mean at Legoland there were no funnel cakes or cotton candy booths....no obese people riding around in scooters...no loud and obnoxious people either. I can only conclude that the south has all the obese, bi polar obnoxious people who like funnel cakes and cotton candy!

Our hotel was amazing. Our suite wasn't ready so they upgraded us to two adjoining rooms. That worked out much better b/c the boys had their own tv and bathroom. The room was recently renovated, so everything was new and stylish!

We also visited the San Diego zoo. That was a huge zoo! We didn't even see all the animals. It was raining but we saw tons of animals. See the monitor:

My Space

I made a My Space page a few months ago. I cut and pasted some blog's from Xanga that I thought were interesting on to MySpace. I posted a couple of pictures of me and my family and listed the same interests and profile data as on Xanga. My 'friends' were mostly band's that I liked, a couple of Athenians that I know. But nothing really went on on my site. Mostly I got friend requests from people selling stuff, sites with adult content and some old High school acquanitances that I had NO interest in maintianing a relationship with. The whole My Space experience just felt sort of icky. So yesterday I deleted my site! I feel good about it. The only folks I want to maintain contact with are here in Athens and I see them regularly. And honestly, it feels like my Xanga friends are genuine as opposed to the fake friends I had on My Space. I feel sort of bad that I haven't kept up with you guys recently, but I want you to know that I think you are cool and hope we can still be freinds...

Well, I guess we have to go to Legoland...we told the kids we are going!! We've been pricing trips, we just have to decide on the hotel and book the trip. I am really looking forward to going. The kids have never flown before and going to Legoland is like to going to Disney World!
