today.  RAIN.  it's supposed to rain alllll week, allll day.
excellent.  just excellent.  'cept on saturday and sunday it's supposed to be partly cloudy.

it was so boring today in my 10 am english class.  see, this is the most advanced english class you can take at a 100 level.  and our prof. is a really dedicated person, like, she qualifies as an "effective teacher," but she treats us like we're incompetent.  like, we're in advanced english because we want to be, not because we're forced to.  english class generally goes by so incredibly fast.  today-- it was so bad.  if english lasted this long, i can't imagine what's in store for me tonight in bio.

then yesterday: "if i smoked, i'd smoke a whole pack now." 
elevators and short cuts are for lazy people.  i hate lazy people.  especially this one.  grrrr.

i'm excited for this weekend.  a) no rain.  b) weekend. yay.  c) no class

today.  06 september.  sunny, high 71, humidity 61%

finally an update, right?  well, i'm at school now, east stroudsberg.  it's alright.  i have 2 roommates and a few friends.  the only thing here that sucks is the water- it's terrible.  it's absolutely disgusting.  but other than that, the food is alright, i don't eat too much, but it's okay for what i eat.
the rec center, i've only been there once and burned 160 calories.  yeah, so, i should be there later on this week.  i'm looking foward to this weekend, because for one, Leslie (roommate) gets to go home.  she's been DYING to go home for such a long time, and i'm happy for her.  i hope she has a good time and what not.  we'll miss her.  and the fam is coming up to visit on sunday for my birthday.  (my birthday isn't till the 14th; fahzie's is on the 11th)  we're going to the crossings to go shopping, then out to eat, and to purchase a shower curtain for our window in our room.  so, this weekend should be exciting.

i can't wait for rufus, because i can't wait to see chris and katie.  oh!  we all need to send katie lots of cards and emails: stehlyk@etown.edu  because she is sick.  she was in the hospital in hershey, and now she went home a few days ago and she can't go to class.  she hasn't been in class for almost a week.  so, show her some love.  it's bad because i can't see there and be with her like she was there for me when i had the horrible mono.

3 days later, my residence was st. lukes place, 8th floor, room #878 (?)...peds

they diagnosed me with mono.  so i was sick with fevers, nausea, and a spleen the size of TX.  let me tell you, my spleen hurts sooooo bad, it's terrible. 

i had some nice visitors.  who brought nice things with them like smiles.and flowers.andcards.

this hospital, let me tell you, it was no home away from home.

i had to drink this barium stuff for a catscan.  i will never look at those white paper cups the same again.  it was an ugly night.

so now i'm home till april 5th. visitors welcome. ((come lay with me in my bed and we'll play the verb game and fall asleep.)) 

oh.  and for the record.  it takes me 7 minutes to get downstairs, 60 miunutes to take a shower. and 17 minutes to get dressed b/c i have this terrible "preg. stomach." (FYI: preg.stomach = whenever i eat a lot my stomach fills up and when it sticks out it looks like i'm carrin' a babe.  but i most certainly am not.) lordy.
