well it's a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Old Forge, PA and I am sitting on the couch watching Dean and one of his best friends play a game of Madden. haha. i'm a wife. it's weird to sometimes just sit and think about it. There are so many things i'm thankful for about being deans wife. it's nice to no longer have to count down the months weeks and days until I see him again. it's wonderful to know how God in his infinite wisdom moved and gently prodded us to the place we are now. what's even better is that He is not finished with us yet!
I think that one thing i did not have a complete grasp of when we got married and moved to PA was how very much i would miss my family whom i love so much. it's hard not to be able to just have them over for dinner WHENEVER we want just because we want to.
Trinity is getting married in the first week in March and unfortunately i can't be there to help with any of the planning/crying/excitement/nervousness/crazyness and everything else that goes along with planning a wedding when the bride is a part of our colossal family. okay maybe it's not a colossal family but there are SIX girls and two boys.
so i guess to sum it all up. I really miss them.
I am turning my two weeks notice into the law office that i work at on Friday of this week. I hate quiting anything but dean and i NEED me to quit. i love the work part of my job but the bosses part of it is really really difficult. besides when we got married we commited to be willing and ABLE to serve one another in the way that God intended a husband to serve his wife and the wife to serve her husband. but with this job I have found it almost impossible to fulfill the role i want and believe I should be fulfilling as dean's wife. Please be in prayer for us as I am looking for another job with a little less hours and ALOT less stress.
here is a pic of dean's beautiful mom and her husband of almost one year. we were at their house for Christmas and New years.
this is a pic of their house in cali
here is a couple pictures of the inside
wrapping a giant box with Dustin
deans grandparents and mom
flying a helicopter that dean's grandpa got for Christmas
dean's cousin, alex, flying
i think this is the only pic that dean got of the both of us together in cali
until next time i update (which given my record, should be in another month or two or maybe even three).
