| First off, it's obvious that I'm a dismal Xanga person! Auf jeden Fall (in any event) here I am once again with a brief update into our lives......I'm assuming there's someone out there that's interested :) We now live and work in Calgary after returning from Germany....June in Sept 05 and Brent in Dec 05. Our kids......Lisa and Adam (and 3 yr old twins Joe and Clara) live in southern Germany and work with the C&MA at Black Forest Academy. They've been there since the summer of 05. We had a great visit with them in Germany as a whole family in June. Andrew lives in Calgary and works with troubled kids who have been placed in a group home. Lots of interesting stories coming out of this. Benj and Haylee just moved to Toronto where Benj has just started Chiropractic school. Looking forward to a lot of neck cracking in future days. Nabes has finally moved back to the country of his birth....Canada (summer of 06) and is working for a telecommunication company. Will try to make more than one entry a year............would love to hear from you!! | | |
| Wow......I guess I'm not much of a "Xanga" person. Last entry July 1st! On the other hand, maybe it's just that I've been so occupied with life saving, earth shattering events that have taken priority.
Back in Calgary as of December 19th. Great Christmas and New Years with the fam. (except bubbs who was romping in our old stomping grounds!
Now settling into routine as the MIR at Southview Alliance.....waiting to see what the future holds. Back to Germany in the summer or stay in Calgary? In the meantime, life is good and the Lord is faithful......and the Honey Cruillers at Tim Hortons are fabulous!

| Happy Canada day to all you Canucks./ I proudly wore my new Old Navy "CANADA" teeshirt from L & A. Today we took a trip into Basel with Lis, Adam. Joe and Clara. Went to Claraplatz to get some "pics" with the babes...especially Clara Lunch along the Rhine was peaceful & superb!.....until a crazy lady came up to us and stared into our faces...kind of scarey weird....really close with this toothless freaky glazed look. At first we thought maybe it could be some documentary about "how do people respond to a weird situation?"......but there were no cameras in sight. After getting home, a little Claypot for dinner (reminiscent of our Cameron Highlands days) and now to top off the day, a huge slice of Saskatoon pie with a cup of espresso Starbucks for a late dessert All in all a great day! Tschuss
ps.....for those Saskatoon fiends, they have Saskatoon bushes here in Germany but the Germans don't seem to use them for anything but decorative bushes. We mustn't let them know our "secret."
