| Where was this song 4 years ago when I really could have used it...She couldn't see the way your eyes, Will light up when you smiled She never noticed how you stop and stare Whenever she walked by
And you couldn't see me wanting you the way you want her But you are everything to me
And I just wanted to show you She didn't even know you She never loved you like I wanted to And you just saw right through me But if you only knew me We could have been a beautiful, miracle, unbelievable Instead of just invisible
Their is a fire inside of you That can't help but shine through She's never going to see the light No matter what you do
And all i thought about is how to make you think of me And everything that we could be
And I just wanted to show you She didn't even know you She never loved you like I wanted to And you just saw right through me But if you only knew me We could have been a beautiful, miracle, unbelievable Instead of just invisible
Like shadows in a faded light Oh we're invisible I just wanted to open your eyes And make you realize
[Chorus:] I just wanted to show you She don't even know you Baby let me love you let me want you You just saw right through me But if you only knew me We could have been a beautiful, miracle, unbelievable Instead of just invisible
She can't see the way your eyes Light up when you smile

| Cold As You
You have a way of coming easily to me And when you take You take the very best of me So I start a fight cause I need to feel something And you do what you want Cause I'm not what you wanted
Oh, what a shame What a rainy ending given to a perfect day So just walk away No use defending words that you will never say And now that I'm sitting here thinking it through I've never been anywhere cold as you
You put up walls and paint them all a shade of gray And I stood there loving you and washed them all away And you come away with a great little story Of a mess of a dreamer with the nerve to adore you
Oh, what a shame What a rainy ending given to a perfect day So just walk away No use defending words that you will never say And now that I'm sitting here thinking it through I've never been anywhere cold as you
You never did give a damn thing, honey But I cried, cried for you And I know you wouldn't have told nobody if I died Died for you (died for you)
Oh, what a shame What a rainy ending give to a perfect day Every smile you fake is so condescending Counted all the scars you made Now that I'm sitting her thinking it through I've never been anywhere cold as you ~Taylor Swift & Liz Rose

| Mark Wahlberg film marathon! So I just saw 2 really good movies last night and it was great cause I haven't seen a great movie in a long time. I watched "We Own the Night" with Joaquin Phoneix, Mark Wahlberg, and Eve Mendes. Now if you can get past all the foul language it is really good movie. The other one was "Shooter" with Mark Wahlberg. (yes I did are Mark Wahlberg movie marathon, he was hot and it was amazing!) The next 3 that are on my list are "The Departed", "Four Brothers" and "Fear", yes all 3 are Mark Wahlberg films, so sue me I'm on a Mark Walberg high right now. But before any one ask I'm not going to see his new film I don't do scary movies at ALL!!!! Ok if any one as any thoughts on the next 3 films I'm planing on seeing let me know, I would love to hear what you think of them! | | |
| From the moment that we met My world was turned around Upside down To some degree I still regret My memory for keeping you around I thought that you were mine But my broken hearts been shattered One too many times And I don't want to see you anymore I'm just not that strong I love it when you're here, But I'm better when you're gone I'm certain that I've given and oh how you can take There's no use in you looking There's nothing left for you to break Baby please release me Let my heart rest in pieces Someone let you down again So you turn to me Your convenient friend Oh but I know what you're doing And what you hope to find I've seen it a thousand times Oh the fire we had before Are now just bitter ashes Left scattered on the floor It's amazing this song says it all, everything I have been thinking lately about why I'm so timmed about putting my heart back out there. So I want to thank Cassi for listening to me tonight rant and as I told her when I'm ready I'll get back out there. But for now I'm still putting pieces back together. | | |
| We are the CHAMPION!!!!HPU finishes perfect season Howard Payne became the first school since 2000 and the fifth ever to complete an undefeated season as the Yellow Jackets defeated Messiah in the national championship game, 68-54.
Kimberly Hoffman scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds while Stacey Blalock added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Hoffman finished the weekend with 35 points and 18 rebounds in two games. "She had a tendency in big games to get nervous and not play too well," said Howard Payne coach Chris Kielsmeir. "I talked to her this week and said, 'That's not the way you wanna go out.' She's got tremendous talent -- just go out and play. She did."
Meia Daniels continues to pile up the hardware being named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, first-team All-American and 2008 player of the year. Daniels and Hoffman were joined by Nikki Lobach of Messiah, Tiffany Morton of UW-Whitewater and Tina Grace of Oglethorpe on the All-Tournament team.
Howard Payne joins Capital (1995), UW-Oskkosh (1996), Washington U. (1999 and 2000) as the only undefeated national champions. The title game victory gives Howard Payne 33 on the season, tying Capital and Hope (2006) for the record. It also gives the ASC its first championship in any team sport.
UW-Whitewater defeated Oglethorpe 80-67, hauling in 69 rebounds to tie a tournament record.
More coverage to come later, including a full listing of the 2007-2008 All-American team. | | |
