| Hello everyone. Sorry I haven't updated for awhile, i've been home away from my computer. Anywho, my visit home was pretty nice. I spent alot of the time playing DDR and doing homework. The bus ride back was hell. Firstly, the bus was suppose to arrive at the terminal at 6:30 but it didn't get there until 7:30, then we didn't leave until 8:00. There was a layover in Harrisburg so people could get off and we found out what because of a hurricane and flooding, we couldn't take the usual route back to State College. So we ended up taking a detour that was majorly out of our way. During this time, I wanted to do some reading for my english class but for some reason the personal lights didn't work. -.- Then I tried to get some sleep but I think the bus's shocks were broken or something because I felt every single bump and it prevented me from even taking a cat nap. We didn't get back until 2:30 am (we were suppose to arrive at 11 pm) and it was dreadfully cold. We all had to stand outside and wait for taxis to take us to our dorms. I had planned on doing my math homework when i got back but since we arrived so late and I was so tired, I just went right to sleep.
Today, I sleep through my first two classes and half of my third. Then when I got back to my dorm, I put my clothes in the wash and took a nap. ^^ | | |
| Bleh...today was a very hectic day. First I had math class, I told me teacher I didn't understand the homework she assigned and she decided to set up a review session for all her sections of Math 140A. Unfortunately, I can't make the session because I won't be here. -_- But I went to her for help during her office hours but I had to leave after like a half hour to go to this other lady who is the adviser for students seeking to study abroad. After I talked to her for awhile and she helped me understand alot of things, I had lunch with Kayla, Nick, and Sarah. After that, me and Kayla went to that stupid Patee Library tour our English teacher made manditory. It was so gay, we got this paper and had to walk around to different stations in the library and get a hole punched in certain spots. Then the people tried to bribe you into answering questions or playing some stupid game to win a gay prize like an inflatable globe or something. I guess the only good thing that came out of it was that I got some candy. xD
When I was done with that, I went back to my room and did some homework. I wanted to go get my bus tickets to go back home on Thursday but I didn't have time so i'll have to do that tomorrow. Lately, my schedule seems crammed. At this rate, I won't have any time to learn Japanese. -_- Well, thats it for today, i'm getting ready to head off to bed since I have class at 8 am tomorrow. | I'm feeling better from yesterday. I went to a sports bar with my friends Yemi, Matt, and Ryan to watch the Penn State football game. We lost because the refs were being gh3y. The called two punt personal fouls in a row when they were obviously not. Anyway, after that, I want to an apartment party with my friends Will, Anon, and Sean. It was pretty fun, there was good music, and beer, lol. I didn't drink much though. Sean on the other hand drank too much. It was funny though on the way back he kept saying random things to people on the street.
Today I didn't do much. I did some homework and watched a little bit of anime. I don't feel like going to class tomorrow, I didn't finish my math homework because I don't understand it.
I talked to my sister today...somehow she found out that I got drunk at one of the parties I went to. -.- Oh well. My mom knows I drink here anyway so bleh...xD I'll be missing class on Thursday and Friday so I can go back home and attend my great grandmother's funeral. Thats it for today, ja! | | |
| Hello everyone....today is not a very good day because I found out that my great grandmother passed away this morning. She had been in the hospital for a long time and the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. At least she died peacefully and wasn't in any pain. I'm going to have to miss classes on Friday so I can attend the funeral.
In other news, my friend asked me to make her a layout for her divison of Sea Cadets so i'll be doing that when i'm not lazy.
