The England loss is such a let-down. Someone has re-written the script. It was not meant to be. Brazil's loss to France. Argentina's loss to Germany. These were expected. Ha ha. England's loss to Deco-less and Costinha-less Portugal is tragic. This is unexpected!
I wonder how many English players gamble for "fun". Owen, Rooney, Lampard, Terry......who else? Did they do the unthinkable? Are bookies the plague of Asia only?
England need a coach like Choo Seng Quee who would have no qualms about substituting a player the moment they under-perform. Samad Apalitchay could tell you a story here. David Beckham and Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard wouldn't have survived under his hawk-eyes.

The World Cup is half as interesting now.

Better to sleep.

England have under-performed during the entire World Cup campaign, so no surprise that they lost.

Heard from my colleagues that if England wins the world cup, all the big time bookies will die and destroyed. U may be right that all are fixed including EPL. Better to watch Wimbledon Tennis, no kelong la.

yeah la the england loss was a disaster waiting to happen. I'm in mourning because Latin America will not have any representation in the world cup. How could Brazil have lost to the French? The Argentinians were cruising to memorable win against the Germans. The coach made some strange substituitons. They went into defense mode. And the germans equalized...oh dear..

Bolivian Beat.I am also puzzle about this game too. How can one subsitude a team that is leading only 1-0 and none of them were injured? Every 50-50 ball goes to Germany. The referee was from Russia, why can't they get a neutral one from say Japan,Korea, Australia..etc.What a joke and it is frustrating.

I agree with you for once about world cup-it is better to sleep. Brazil is out, Argentina is out and we now have those large old men running around the field resembling Hitler! I have one from the Father land sitting at home so I better support Germany lah!!! It's gonna be a bo....ring game. I'm so biased!
