| PEOPLE, PEOPLE, wats happening?!
I haven't posted for a while, so here. nothing interesting happenin, work and school.. thats it! oh just wanted to share.. we're talking about racism and stuff in my multicultural class, pretty interesting... we're talking about the power and privileges of WHITEs.. one of the white prof enumerated all the privileges she gets for being white the list was long.. but here are the few things that caught my attention; she said she can be late in a meeting and still not get a bad reputation towards their race.. I thought.. yeah huh, unlike filipinos. filipinos are known to have punctuality problems.. one filipino gets late and all the filipino race are brought down, you know?! also, you know how whites go to foreign countries, not knowing the language and still not look stupid.. the people from the country whites go to, will be courteous and stuff and will try hard to accommodate whites' needs.. gosh.. think about it!! why do white people seem to have superiority above other races... tell me what you think so i'll have insights...
gosh.. i'm doing graveyard today... my eyes are getting heavy!! there's nothing to do here at work.. people ain't coming to ER. trying to stay awake..
oh the concert was rockin... kuya jonathan rocked.. so did aziel!! smokin eyes.. hehe.. you guys were great!!

HAAAY!! its almost 3 am and i'm still up! i am so behind with my classes. i have so much to do. GRRRHH!! i know for a fact that this whole work and school mixture isn't going to work that well. but here i am again juggling with the same formula that i dealt with 4 years ago. GAH! i thought that now, i'm older and all, i can make it. i'm apparently WRONG! it's not that late to catch up though.

| what's happening people?!?HECTIC. gah.. i don't get to visit my dailies now. months of bumming around is O-ver. working in a stressfull environment full-time & studying full load. if that's not enough, we moving too. we only have till sunday to clear out our stuff from the other house or else we be paying another month's rent. golly. talk about being BUSY!!

| gosh! been a long time! waddup people?!
i'm home sick today, well not really. i started feeling sick yesterday. when i walked in to my supervisor's office today she asked me right away if i'm doing better. i wasn't at that very moment so she decided to send me home instead of me working and possibly spreading my VIRUS to everyone. hehe.. but now i'm a lot better. i think it was boogie and faith's virus that hit me just now. oh gah. nik was teasing me saying that because i havent done anything in a while and now that i'm working full-time that my body cant handle it.. hehe... it might be right.. i guess my body needs to get use to working again...

| do you wanna know how my night went?!
earlier today my mom called me about the free ice cream coupon yahoo's giving out for the celebration of their 10th year. i didn't really paid attention. later tonight she mentioned it again. around 9pm we all decided to print out the coupon and went to pick up odang. we drove up highway 99 and stopped at the first baskin-robbins we saw. even before we entered the store, a written sign that says "no more coupons, we have 300 already" stopped us. we went in anywaize to ask for another closer store. he pointed us to the one by fred mayer in 196th. so we went. it turned out that they have exceeded the number of coupons allowed. with frustration, we just headed home. if getting no ice cream is not frustrating enough, at the 196th & 44th intersection, the van i was driving suddenly stopped! i ran out of gas. i didn't even know where the hazard light is at. people were yelling "turn on your hazard". i was so embarrased, i didn't wanna get off the van. my mom and nik went to the nearest gas station and bought some gas. odang and i started arguing. she told me to roll down my window and instruct people to pass me. but i didnt wanna do it. so she got out and stood behind the van and told people to pass. she also told me to use my eyes and not my mouth in looking for the hazard button. i took her advice and finally found it!
i never thought that something like this would ever happen to me. well i guess we should expect things to happen when it is least expected, good or bad. oh well... that was quite a night! we went, expecting to get free ice cream but we end up not getting free ice cream and getting a new, somewhat embarrassing experience! hehe! | | |
