    ahhh xanga.

i fear college life has gotten the best of my time, and, alas but xanga has been sadly neglected.

i do however have facebook, which gets checked about 2 times weekly.

my apologies to any of you that will actually check and or read my xanga while it is collecting dust. you have my sympathy.

this is your appology for me never posting. alas, but college life is busy believe it or not. take today for example. i left the house at 7:45 to walk to my 8:00 class, and only just retourned (it is now 8:30pm) the reason for such lateness of arrival being that there were two soccer games and some mostly fun hanging out to be done today. i also spent an hour and a half under a nice oak tree doing math and other such nonsense while several friends occasionally stopped by to say hello or to throw random acorns at me and then hide behind trees (thanks Brian). the soccer games were stupendous, the girls winning 5-1 as well as the guys winning 5-1. it's a good thing too considering the guys were 4-0.... Emilie got excited when they won because, well, anyway. after all the soccer madness a few of us were going to go to Chik-fil-a since it opened yesterday (i still have not been yet, which vexes me terribly) but the guys decided on backyard burgers. i was very much dissapointed. but, when you haven't eaten since 11:00  and it's 7:30 you'll go for anything. so now i am home and so very tired and typing who-knows-what on this xanga for who-knows-who that will still read it. i think i'm going to collapse in front of the tv now (haven't watched any all week).

sorry this won't be a long post, but i just thought i would let you all know that I GRADUATED.

haha, you're probobly thinking yeah, so what Steph? graduation was like 8  million months ago in like, may or something. but i say to you that i, a homeschooler, only just completed the final work on thursday August 17. yes, i am just that good.

the real reason i am posting right now is because my family threw me a SURPRISE graduation party on saturday. yeah, i had absolutly NO idea about it. can you blame me for not knowing? freshman week was in full swing, i figured it would be dumb to have a graduation party when i'd already started college. i guess my mom called practically everyone in my church. a couple of my old gym buddies showed up. and some of my best friends i haven't hardly seen all summer (shouts to my girl Ali, you rock my socks baby). and get this, my two big brothers who live in ohio and memphis came. i could not believe it. so crazy! i don't think i've ever felt so loved and supported. it was so incredible. <3
