A legacy ends

And so, I'm up to go to my last 8 am until Mar 19th. It's hard to believe how much time has already flown past. We'll be through March when we get back from break, and then it's only April and May until my freshman year is over and my sophomore year begins. To think that I could be out in the real world in three years is both a scary and an interesting thought.

Like everyone at college, I am still working on trying to find out who I am and trying to find the answer to the question "Where are you going to be five years from now?" Last night I wrote what I consider to be probably the best speech I have ever written, and I started it the day that it was due. But, such is college.

It's exciting to be actually in the positive with money for a change. I'm not used to being able to actually buy stuff, even if the stuff isn't that expensive.

It's looking to be a very good day. But yet, I still must leave you with the following news..

Although my xanga has lived it's life; one of both honesty and jokes, it's time to move on.

I feel that a title including the descriptor word "Guitarist" somehow just isn't fitting of me. And so I've created a xanga , more relevant to my thought process.

Spring break starts Wednesday. It will be good to have a chance to just relax.

Long weekend..mostly good. :)

Work is blah but paychecks are good.

Have to get the Chateau Terrace apt. taken care of. I can't wait til SUMMER 2006

For 365 days in a year, I would say that's not too bad.

Wow, over seven thousand views. Granted, a bunch of those are probably the same people, but that is still a bunch. I'm not sure if the majority of those views have come recently or in the past ,but either way. Wow.

To have that sort of readership on a xanga sort of makes you feel like you can influence people. Actually, not really.

I more feel like xanga readership is dying fast. Hell, as I sit here, I even wonder sometimes why I do it.

And then I realize there are many moments in college where you are bored.

Absolutely...totally...bored.

And this is one of those. Tonight I will be jamming w/ a couple of my good friends up here, but until then, it is up to xanga, facebook, and poker stars to keep me sane.

And then later tonight, I'm gonna go out with the girls. Good times, all around.

You know you've got an overactive mind when it's 130 in the morning and you're writing on xanga. Lately my mind has been so clouded, and I'm not even sure why.

I'm working on readjusting my housing for next year.

Yay.

Went to the Dock tonight. Some crazy hawaiin junk. Fun times! It's always good to run into the people there. I had some chai and a variation on a milkshake. Good times, all.

I also went to IBM tonight and finished up the last night of job training. I start work for real this Saturday from 3-11. Hopefully I get my paycheck then too.

Oh yeah, and I hate being sick.

Speaking of sick, I heard rumors that a kid from across campus has.. get this...Scartlet Fever. Let me say that again. SCARLET FEVER still exists.

Hopefully the kid gets better. That's got to suck. :-/

Makes me look at life differently I guess. My problems could pale in comparison to that.

Anyways, it's friday morning so I'm hitting the hay.
