| Despite ruining the surprise....we managed to have a spectacular time in NYC...filled with shopping, eating, and sightseeing. There's nothing better than walking around NYC and taking in everything that the wonderful city has to offer. Definitely thinking about moving to New York someday...
Trip Itinerary: Friday: Flew into NYC at 1 in the morning, managed to check into our hotel by 2. Due to the close proximity of the hotel to time square, we were able to venture on foot to time square and take in the night scene. Of course, the night wouldn't have been complete without some yummy New York style Pizza
Saturday: Woke up bright and early to explore. After a quick stop at Starbucks, we proceeded to walk/sightseeing from Central Park, to Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, St. Patricks Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, intermixed with TONS of shopping on 5th Avenue. Ended the night with a great Broadway show and yummy dinner at Tao.
Sunday: Chinatown, Soho, Little Italy, Battery Park, Financial District, and World Trade Center ground zero....my favorite? Awesome breakfast food in Chinatown :)
Ended up taking 325 pictures over the course of the day and half... ....couldn't help it, so much to capture.. All in all, one of the best weekends ever! Happy three years!!

| <Viet...this entry is for you...it goes hand in hand with my other stupid moments...>
Sadly, the following is a true story...
To make up for ruining
Vday with work and for our upcoming anniversary...I decide to fly Tuan
up to NYC for the weekend...he's been trying really hard for the past
week to pry our destination out of me, but I held my grounds and didn't
break down.
Today...24 hours before we're scheduled to flying out...the following coversation took place..
Tuan: so where are we going tomorrow..
me: can't tell you or it won't be a surprise...
Tuan: okay, fine, how are we gonna get around when we get there?
me: that's a stupid question, it's New York City! There are taxis everywhere!
*PAUSE*
and I scream in disgust of MY OWN STUPIDITY!

| Another weekend passes by in the blink of an eye. I've only been
back from Cali for a week, but it seems like it's been a long time.
Work has been busy, and definitely keeping me at the office pass the
usual hours. You might have heard me bitch and complain, you might have
even heard me say I hate my job. But when all's said and done,
that's just me whining for unnecessary sympathy. I actually do
love my job and can't imagine working anywhere else. I thrive
subconciously on over working myself. Another one of my MANY weird
quirks, I assure you.
The weekend was a busy one. Filled with night out with best
friends, tapioca runs to Chinatown, movies till 6 in the morning, hour
long galleria shopping spree, unexpected surprises on the sale rack,
quiet dinner and movie night with me, myself and I, out of town
visitors, and of course, the weekend wouldn't have been completed
without a 12 hour workday on Sunday (while semi hung over from the
night before).
In between the whirlwind of excitments, I had a couple of quiet hours
to myself, something that rarely happens, simply because I refuse to
give myself a chance to breath. Ostensibly, having time to breath
allows me time to think.....

| What exactly am I chasing after?

| | |
| I've been sick.....really really sick...flu/cold sick...It's the fourth
time I've been sick since I started working...and I've only been
working for FOUR months!!!...something about long hours and stuffy
office air..
My roomie's been taking care of me. Thanks Colin! :)
And then tonight, I came home to this........

I love you!
