Just for maintenance's sake, mixed in with a splash of boredom, I am here again, in this godforsaken piece of cyberspace long replaced by many other social utilities across the Internet. Regardless, I shall perform my biannual check in of this page, and recount the events past. What has happened since I last checked in November of 2007? Quite a large chunk of events, which would take forever and a half to fully recount to my fullest ability. For starters, I've noticed a drastic change in my written voice, perhaps stemming from the sentence structure and syntax, which I quite attribute to my creative writing class of the spring semester of 2008. As I last recounted, the expected decrease in stress did not quite occur after the deadlines of all of my college applications. Instead, different sources of pressure replaced them, to my utter disappointment and annoyance. For starters, The Tempest went better than expected. It had received positive reviews, although the majority of the audience didn't understand the majority of what was being spoken. Theater's been quite a large influence in my senior year, as it was the one thing I looked to in school to relieve stress. Having Acting every morning, first thing in the morning was quite a relief, due to the convenience of not having to focus academically at such an early hour. I continued to pursue this course, auditioning for The Wizard of Oz, landing the role of the title character, the Wizard himself. That show was quite the success, and is something I'll be remembered for, as it was one of the last endeavors of my Meadows career, which is both to my pleasure and annoyance (seriously, that's all they talked about at graduation). My video game and television life has been quite reduced, replaced with Skype and Warcraft III, and a little of Magic: The Gathering. Classes this year were incredibly annoying, especially in the month of May, also known as the Month of Death. A couple of large presentations were quickly followed up by AP Exams, finals, all of which was between final rehearsals for the show the week afterwards. I survived, and the rest was a breeze. The show was extremely fun to do, although somewhat of a pain in the ass through the process. AP exams went alright, as I recently found out:
Computer Science AB 5
Calculus BC 5
Macroeconomics 4
Spanish Language 4
As such, an end was brought to my high school career, four years of learning and discovery, regrets and worries, all of which contributed to molding the guy writing this right now. It's midsummer now, and a period of time I'll most likely never experience again, full of anticipation, yet carefree. Four more weeks marks the beginning of my college career, starting from The University of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign, with a planned major in chemical engineering. I already know my schedule, but don't find out about my roommate until later this week.

Huh, I ended up typing a lot more than I expected, but still, it's nice to keep track of what's going on in my life, as much as I don't want to think about it. I'll probably keep this and look back at some point in the future. Who knows, it might be useful.

Wow, do I actually consistently get on this thing every 6 months or so? That's quite odd...anyway....

My life, as a summary:
College Apps
work
work
school play : The Tempest
work
college apps
work
work some more...

life kinda sucks right now, but all will be well after college apps...

Hoooo! wow, it's been...about 6 months since I last posted! Well, update, where to begin....

Well, let's start recent: Just finished my last AP test today (late AP testing, long story), which was Chemistry. Also had Calculus AB, European History, and English Lit. & Comp., all of which I'm fairly confident I got 5's on, especially Calc and Chem. Wow, tis' the end of Junior year, went by pretty fast...which reminds me, my schedule for senior year looks really screwed up: acting I, spanish 4AP, macroeconomics AP, lit. seminar, calc BC AP, chemistry III, and compsci AB AP.....four of the classes i wanted to take were at the same time, so yea....

Hmm, in the entertainment department, well, got a Wii, like everyone else. I've had it for quite awhile now, got it about a month after they were released (simply cause' i get video games from toysrus, where most people rarely go). Wii games include: Wii Play, Wii Sports, Sonic and the Secret Rings, and LoZ: Twilight Princess. I've taken up playing Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! again; a couple of people gather during lunch to play everyday at school.

Hmm, can't think of much else....oh, right, Pokemon Diamond, lol. Heh, been neglecting that recently. I've also stopped watching tv lately. So my daily routine has basically been reduced to: drive to school, classes, lunch/Magic, classes, track (past couple of months anyway, not anymore) home, procrastinate, skype, homework, naruto/bleach (sometimes), sleep, repeat.
