| | "Under the Sea" and MeSo, it's 33 days until Vacation Bible School, and those of you who help will hear us old-timers reminiscing about how we did this "Under the Sea" theme back in 1994. That was the year Q entered the youth group, and our family first became active in VBS. That was the first time I went on a mission trip. That was the beginning of a self-discovery process for me that took a number of VBS's to complete. That year, I tried teaching 2nd graders, I decorated walls, and acted in one Bible play (Naaman's wife-I just remember she was wealthy, so I had a nice costume). I've tried a number of things, but kept gravitating toward working with the young actors in the skits. Now, I've found where my passion is, and look forward to hanging with the very creative and cool folks who make our VBS the BEST. |
