Wow...I guess it has been awhile since I am written on this thing so here goes.
There is now a 99.99% chance that I will not be returning to TCU in the fall. I guess I feel kind of bittersweet about it. I am glad to get a fresh start and not be stuck in school for an extra year like I would if I remained here, but at the same time I have met so many incredible people and a part of me doesnt want to leave. I am going to take on this new venture in my life with an open mind though and I plan to make the best of it.
On a lighter note I have been having a blast lately. Friday night after the storms and tornadoes worked their way through Fort Worth, we loaded up the car and drove to Granbury where we proceded to spend the early morning hours soaking in a hot tub and getting drunk. Which then later led to 4 girls and 2 boys skinny dipping in the Grandbury Lake at 3 in morning, praying that gars wouldnt attack us. It felt so good to just let go and have fun with friends without worrying about the rest of the world out there. We made it back to TCU sometime after 4 in the morning and I passed out until 1 the next day.
Saturday night the lovely Robin came to stay. She and Meg and I went to party with some friends near campus. It was at a house with 5 foreign students who are from Ecuador and Guatemala. It was a blast!! We got trashed on Grey Goose in no time and some how ended up playing strip beer bong. We also salsa danced and played some amazing games of Kings. And once more we made it back to TCU around 4 in the morning and passed out until about 1. Needless to say..we are all very tired by now.
Next Saturday a bunch of us are going to the horse derby. It has been so much fun looking for dresses and big hats to wear. Later that night we are taking a white hummer limo around downtown Fort Worth for the evening for a night on the town. It is going to be soooo much fun. Let me know if you want to join us. It seats 24 and I am sure that we will have no problem finding room for you.
Other than that I am so not looking forward to finals in a week. I always get way too stressed out during finals. Oh well..good luck on finals everyone!! |
