| Changes, ChangesOkay my dear friends, I have decided to start a new online journal elsewhere. As some of you - if not all - know, I have had some rude comments and un-nice people reading my xanga. So, for the sake of keeping you all updated while eliminating an unwanted audience, I am setting up another site that may even include pics and - hopefully - more frequent updates! I would love for you guys to still get to hear what is going on with me, so don't hesitate to e-mail me (through xanga if you don't know my e-mail) and I will send you the link to the new site! All that I ask is that you don't link to the site or share it so that only friends and family will know about this one! I will keep up my xanga name, though, so I can still read about you guys! Much love and I hope to hear from lots of you!!!

| Tax Season For those of you who are not yet required to do your taxes, feel lucky. I hate doing my taxes. For that matter, I hate filling out a W2 form because NOBODY has ever explained how to correctly fill out the darn thing. So far, I've been alright. The IRS has not come to hunt me down for fraud... but the fear is there... oh yes, it is. But, honestly, filing your taxes isn't so bad once you figure it out. It's just the wait that kills you. As of right now I am wondering where on earth my W2 forms will show up because of multiple address changes within the last year. Will I file my taxes on time? Will the IRS come after me? Will I mysteriously owe $50 million in twenty years for unseen tax mumbo-jumbo that I am completely unapprised of as of this moment? How do you file taxes when your status changes to something a little more complicated than a single, dependent-less person? All of these questions now haunt my brain... and, oh yes, they shall haunt yours too!
So, as you can see, I love tax season.
Holy crap, I actually have some interesting news for you guys! It's about my mom... and I don't think she'll mind me posting it... but if she did, who cares, because she doesn't even read Xanga! lol Well... my mom is married! After something like 20 years she has remarried. She married Jeff Janes, a man she has known for as long as I can remember and been dating for a few years now. And get this: she actually took his last name. If you know anything about my mom, that's slightly amazing news. Well, they just had a legal ceremony a few weeks ago and will be having an actual ceremony with the fam and such sometime soon in the future. I am alternately happy for her, a little shocked, and... um... <cough> hopeful that this marriage works out. I think Jeff is probably the most decent, loving, and caring man my mom has ever been with. I actually like him a lot. So, I'm praying they will be together and happy for a long time.
There is much more to post, but I shall write more soon. And sorry to everyone whom I owe comments to! I will do it soon, I promise! 'Til then, love to my homies!

| I apologize ahead of time for not posting a good update-ish post. But,
there is too much going on that is so not worthy of posting on Xanga...
I am still trying to call people to give good, in person (sort-of),
oh-so-happy updates!
So, on a completely random note:
I am absolutely and irrevocably addicted to Levi's jeans! Holy crap,
has anyone else discovered the wonderfulness of their jeans?! Brandon
and I just went shopping this weekend for new jeans for me... ;) ...
and I bought my second pair of Levi's! I couldn't even bring myself to
look through the sickly jumble of junior jeans that do nothing for my
figure. The jean companies should know that STRETCH is a BAAAD thing! I
think women also need to learn that slightly loose clothing is quite
flattering. Skin Tight=Gross. Anywho, my first pair of Levi's has
lasted so long and remained quite nice through much abuse and many
wearings. So, I figured paying more than usual for a second pair of
fantastic jeans would be worth the investment.
And, final thought:
I never knew I could be this happy. If I haven't had a chance to talk
to some of you in awhile, you haven't heard this, but: I am happier
than I have ever been in my entire life!!! Life just gets better and
better every day! I don't think I ever knew life could be this good...
and I hope all of you eventually achieve this crazy happiness!!! God
Bless!!!

| Oh, what a wonderful, wonderful world we live in! Warner Bros has come out with a Batman Anthology!!! Check it out: http://www.warnervideo.com/batmanmoviesondvd/
All I want for Christmas.....
Yet, there is one small sucky part to the Batman Anthology (which is inherent in the Batman series as a whole): it includes the last - and utterly crappy - Batman movie, Batman and Robin. Whoever at Warner Bros thought it was a good idea to make a Batman movie that leaned more towards the cheesy comic-like drivel with George Clooney as Bruce Wayne instead of the traditionally dark and brooding Batman was a total moron... and utterly out of touch with the Batman comic/storyline as a whole. The only reason I am no longer mad at Warner Bros is because they came out with a fantastic substitution for their previous mistake: Batman Begins. Now I'm only annoyed that Batman Begins wasn't included in the anthology! WB has a lot of making-up to do for their Batman betrayals. Perhaps WB isn't as smart as I thought... maybe I'll have to wait for a new collection to come out that includes the new and better Batman... | | |
