just flew in from guatemala and boy are my arms tired!
sorry, i had to go there.
Well the week went way too fast, but so many things happened. i will give you a quick summary, and hopefully i can tell you more about it in person at a later date.
-the spanish seemed to just flow out of my mouth
-i got to help build beds, then i got to see 9 families as they were surprised with new beds for their kids. it was awesome.
-i got to co-lead bible school for a bunch of munchkin guatemalans
-i made new friends
-I stood about 50 feet from a dead man in the middle of the road and couldnt take my eyes off of him. It was disgusting.
-But most importantly of all... I met, fell in love with(not in a creepy kind of way), and adopted Kimberly. Ok, I didnt exactly adopt her, but i am her sponsor now. She is beautiful. I cant wait to go again and smother her with clothes and shoes and toys and any other gift i can think of. I really want to post pictures here but i cant figure out how to do it, so i will just put one of her off to the side. If anyone knows how to post pictures, please teach me. |

| Going to a Crew game with Lauren tonight. Oh, and also to CPK. This is gonna be so much fun! Hanging out with Freddy Adu, then there are going to be fireworks after the game for us to ooh and aah about. I've heard that Freddy loves fireworks. Then tomorrow we're going to see fireworks in Grove City with Amy's music friends from OWU. I've needed this break from the norm.
Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll get to go visit other friends from school. We'll see what works out. Everyone should just come to my house and we can have a weekend party. Feel free to stop by anytime. |

| I'm going to costa rica! This is ridiclous! I cant get over it. I just sit in class or in my room or wherever and then all of a sudden i remind myself and i'm amazed all over again. HOLY CRAP! I just reminded myself again. This is insane. |
