So this will probably be my last post of the semester.  It's finals week and let me tell you I'm stressed.  I've really tried hard this semester and so therefore these finals actually matter... its weird I know.  I have 2 finals Monday, 2 finals Tuesday and 1 final Wednesday.  I haven't decided if I'm going home Thursday or Friday yet but I am definately ready for a break.  Three weeks in St. Louis sounds oh so good right now.  I don't have any big plans for Christmas other than spending time with my family but I am going to Decatur, Illinois for New Years to visit Keenan and Lauren.  For those of you who don't know, Decatur is the party capital of the world!  Oh it will be crazy!  Other than that I'll just be working, sleeping, and preparing for the spring semester.  Everyone have a great Christmas and New Years!  Be safe and I'll see you in January!

P.S.  For all of those who have been concerned about me and my relationship issues, or the lack there of this semester, I want to thank you for concern and prayers.  I still don't know what God has planned for me but I know that I have some great friends who will always be there for me!  You guys mean so much you don't even know!

So check this out.  The human mind is absolutely amazing and its things like this that make me know that there is a God.  Too many things in this world are too complex to not have divine intervention.  Read this paragraph and watch how your mind comprehends the whole thing even though it is a rambled mess!

So apparently its not cool that I haven't updated this in a while.  So Lauren, this is for you!  This weekend was so awesome!  Friday night was our Gamma Sigma Phi hay ride function.  To be honest I thought it was going to be gay but it was so much fun.  We carved pumpkins, had a hay ride, sang at a bonfire, made smores, and ran through a hay maze.  For all who missed out I'm sorry.  Saturday was a lazy day where I watched football and then went over to Jon and Johnny's house and watched a movie.  For anyone who hasn't seen "House of D" I would highly recommend it.  I had never heard of it but it was amazing.  Its one of those movies that makes you part of the story.  It was really funny and sad all within 2 hours.  Then today I did some laundry, did some homework, went to work, and went to Wal-Mart with Keenan.  So that was my weekend.  I hope everyone else had a good weekend and I'll see you around.  Have a good Monday!

So here's our freaking sweet t-shirts!              Here's me carving "Special Fred" our pumpkin.

Here's Julia making out with Fred.                                     And here's Fred lit up for the world to see!

So yesterday I received an email from my grandma which is always nice.  When I opened it I realized it was a mass forwarding email and under normal circumstances I would have just deleted it but for some reason I decided to read it.  It had this poem or proverb or whatever you want to call it but I thought it was awesome.  You should all read it....

God Said No
- I asked God to take away my habit.  God said No, it is not for me to take away, but for you to give up.
- I asked God to grant me patience.  God said No, patience is a biproduct of tribulations, it isn't granted, it is learned.
- I asked God to give me happiness.  God said No, I give you blessings.  Happiness is up to you.
- I asked God to spare me pain.  God said No, suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.
- I asked God to make my spirit grow.  God said No, you must grow on your own, but I will prune you and make you fruitful.
- I asked God for all things that I may enjoy life.  God said No, I will give you life so you may enjoy all things.
- I asked God to help me LOVE others as much as He loves me.  God said... Ah, finally you have the idea.

To the world you might be one person, but to one person you may be the world!
