| Things are super busy here. We have Presidential Scholarship weekend that we are getting ready for and prepping these students to do! We also just brought in about 20 transfer students to acclamate, who are still coming by the office. So, I haven't had much time to post! This week is amazing - Josh Bales is here leading worship for the Christian Life conference and Dr. Coffield is speaking! If there is a way to request an audio copy of these series, I would definitely do it! They are both amazing. Well, that's all I have for now! I have to go and get 250 students in here so I can be better than that last Admissions Counselor named Carrie Lee..............(and so we can all receive a 5% raise for next year - that is contingent upon bringing in at least 250 new kids, NO PRESSURE)

| I can't believe it's been so long since I have posted anything! I'm horrible at this!! I do read xanga.com every day to those that I subscribe to! I enjoy it! Things are crazy here at Bryan College! The Admissions Dept. is rolling!! We are getting ready for our Spring prospects as well as our presidential weekend! It's a little different being at Bryan and not knowing hardly anyone! I'm used to knowing at least everyone's name and saying hello! It's so intimidating now to go on campus and know NO ONE!!! :) It's just a challenge for me to get out there and know them! I love some of the people I work with in the office. We have a long way to go before it "gels"!! I think some people are incompetant - you have to be here to know!! I really do enjoy my living situation, too! It's kind of cool to see the dynamics of our house!!! It's hilarious, really - but sometimes frustrating (at least not that bad for me). Well, I must run! | Wow, it's been such a long time!! I have had NO time to write, but I do enjoy reading everyone's entries! It's very hard being a youth pastor - I've had many sleepless nights and VERY trying times! It's been such a blessing, though! It has kept me on my toes and I've seen about 5 kids come to know the Lord in my duration; about 6 re-dedicate their life; and 1 called into full-time Christian ministry! It's amazing!!
BUT, I have decided to close that chapter of my life! This church has been a little challenging to me, theologically! I don't know if I want to explain, but they are a little in left field! I have submitted my resignation today to the pastor and my last day will be September 1, 2005! I will be moving to the great state of TN and working for Bryan College as their new traveling Admissions Counselor! I'm so pumped! God totally put it out there for me and I grabbed it and held on tight!! So, if you are going to Bryan in the fall, look for me!! I'm so excited about coming back on campus as well as recruiting brand new students to come to the best college in the USA!! No, I'm not bias!
So, anyway! I have to get ready for our DNow weekend this coming weekend! If you are in the Richmond, Fredericksburg, VA area (DC, too) - The Swift (http://www.the-swift.com/) will be at my church THIS Saturday night at 7pm! If you guys know Josh Bales, he wrote one of the songs they sing! We're going to rock the house out!! Please come! I'm in Bowling Green, VA at Bowling Green Baptist Church (225 N. Main St. Bowling Green, VA 22427 - mapquest it).
