| New blogHello to the few people who might come across this. Joshua and I now have a joint blog which you can check out at www.taylorfamily.wordpress.com we post every week, so that's a better place to get an update. | | |
| Remembering the GospelWell, on goes life. . . Joshua has made two trips to NYC in the last couple weeks and has decided that he is very glad God moved us to Virginia and not New York. I have to agree!!! I have enjoyed some time alone and have had much time to get mundane things around our apartment done (like laundry). I have also had some great times in the Word. I am again enjoying set apart times to read the Bible and an excellent devotional by D.A. Carson titled: "For the Love of God"
I have recently found it very beneficial to remind my soul of the gospel everyday and this quote from Charles Spurgeon has been very helpful. I hope it blesses you! "Come my soul think thou of this. . .believing in Jesus, thou art actually and effectually cleared from guilt; thou art led out of thy prison. . .thy Savior's blood has procurred thy full discharge. Thy disabilities are taken away; thou wast once unable to see thy father's face; thou canst see it now. Thou couldst not speak with Him; but now thou hast access with boldness. . .all the love and the acceptance which perfect obedience could have obtained from God, belong to thee, because Christ was perfectly obedient on thy behalf, and hath imputed all His merits to thy account, that thou might be exceedingly rich through Him, who for thy sake became poor. Oh! How great the debt of love and gratitude thou owest to thy Savior."

| Posting againOkay, So I'm not that great at blogging. . .but I'm wanting to give it a try again. It seems life is moving at somewhat of a normal pace again and I'm very excited to see all that God unfolds in my life. Joshua and I have recently relocated to Northern Virginia in the DC area and it has truly been a step of faith. I am nannying and Josh is actually still looking for a job. So any ideas for logistic/administrative/project oriented work would be great! He is really willing to do anything as we know we are specifically called to this area during this season of life. It just seems like we can't settle down in one place yet. I admit it has been exciting to move 5 times in 3 years of marriage but I wonder God's plan in it all. We think this place will be for a while, the church we are attending is incredible and actually feels like home. I love it! Anyhow, I should have internet set up at our new apartment soon and be able to blog more so please I'd love to hear from people! Have a great day! | | |
