so tonight was a celebration for June and Crystal going to Harvard and UCLA..

soon we will split off in different directions
just like how june left to Germany and Crystal left for China before
but i'm sure, when we are together again, we will always pick up where we left off

Dessert Sweet Talkers
we went to e-canteen for dinner
cuz they always give us a room and never rushes us
it was like this really HK style service HK food restaurant
so expect the HK kind of service from auntie waitresses
the auntie went around the table asking for orders impatiently
which i can understand..cuz it was a busy night
then she brought us food..but since she couldnt' remember who ordered what
she had to yell out what the food was (there were 11 of us)
and she complained that no one answers her when she calls out the food
so peter...the genius
when she called out his food..he raised his hand up high and shouted "YES/HERE!"
i think it shocked her...i saw the fear on her face
of course..she was standing right beside him holding the dish so from my angle it looked like he almost flipped over the plate..

i dunno how the guys did it
but at the end of dinner she brought in free jello dessert just for di and peter
peter: " you REALLY brought us dessert"
auntie "well nei wa yau mai yau lo.."
us: "waaaaa..."
it was wiggly green jello..and it was jiggly..didn't look too enticing
but hey~ free dessert

I'm not sure how the conversation started
maybe it was when i brought up how i get these accountant jokes cuz one of my friends keep on emailing them out
then gabe was talking about how accountants are like prostitutes
 <= exactly how my face looked like at the instant when he said it
the reason was they charge say 120/hour for the service
but they only get paid 16 or so
most of the money they dun even see..
it's like..their boss is the pimp and they're the prostitute
i was like "gabe..u wanna know what was going on in my head when u said accountants are like prostitutes?

then later on me and june were asking crystal how was celebrities..since we might wanna go on a girls night
so crystal was telling us about this one night she went

after dinner we went to di da di to sing for 3 hours
wow..i didn't know all these ppl sing so well
peter and dennis especially
well minus the 粵曲 that peter was trying to sing
dennis did well.
and so did enoch! with mariah carey's songs!
yite and gabe! with all the rapping
they can read so fast
i was barely following
and what amazed me the most
gabe and enoch can sing HILLARY DUFF!
not just the chorus like me and the girls could
but the entire song..WITHOUT having the lyrics infront of them
i can't remember what that song was
something 'let the rain fall down~" <= i only know this line
but they ddi the entire song!!!
and i have it on camera..
it will be uploaded shortly
and i wil need a small bribe to stop me from posting it on youtube!

my guy friends are so talented with girlie songs.. and know the lyrics by heart..

and sang with him

and totally forgot what he said he would do
when i reminded him
he hesistantly removed one item of clothing

i had a very fun birthday week!!!
had 4 cakes and more drinks than i can handle
but i had so much fun!!!

i started off the night by meeting tiff chan~, ellie, jason, leo and joe at earl's
which is so close to where i work
a round of hugs
a round of drinks/shots
a round of catching up
and i'm already buzzing

i really felt them afterwards..

i'll make sure to hide it deeply buried in my closet so my parents won't find it......

Bussing with the B-line
it's been so long since i've been on the B-line
and honestly i missed it
or.. i missed the days when i can flash my bus pass at the bus driver and walk away
i felt so special.. :D
oooOOooo the priviledges.. forgetting that i paid for it by other means
when the bus door opened
i'm pretty sure i hopped onto the bus..
which made the buzz felt even better..
and i'm pretty sure the bus driving was laughing/smiling when he said welcome aboard..
Original Joes
randomly picked a restaurant on broadway
i was going for cactus or joey's
but then they both don't take reservation on friday nights
so i ended up with original joes
which was nice! it wasn't too loud or crowded
and food was good..at least my pull pork sandwich was!
or maybe it was the people that made it taste yummy!
the waitress was really nice
so i wanted to tip her lots
i was gonna buy a round of drinks and wings like i promised in the evite
so we got the 1L sangria..
i think most ppl who got there early got the juice..and the ppl came later had more of the alcohol at the bottom
it's all good.. :D
The Trio (Gabe, June, Enoch-ie~)
including saturday..i think i've seen June, Gabriel and Enoch for three times this week
not that i'm complaining
it just feel a bit odd to see them so often
hahahha i'm not used to the all of a sudden frequentness ^^
but the more the better!!!!

but yi-te's really passionate about his work
he works for Primerica
and every time i talk to him i'm so drawn
cuz he speaks with such passion

One step closer to quarter of a century
over multiple drinks..i was buzzing
sometimes when i talked to people
i had to read lips..cuz i can hear sounds but they weren't making sense for a while..
lol
so if i looked like i was listening very intently when you talk
i wasn't sincerely looking into your eyes
i was only lip-reading
so.. half way through dinner...
i suddenly had this epiphany that
"i'm one year away from a quarter of a century old"
