Merry Christmas, Ok, So this blog has a purpose and that purpose is not to offend anyone or discount their oppinion of Christmas. It just seems this time of year everyone has an oppinion about Christmas and how to celebrate it. Here lately all I have heard is what I feel is a drastic approach to celebrate Christmas. Like I said tis is just my oppinion, doesnt make it right or wrong.... Why do we celebrate Christmas? Jesus Birth..... How do we remind everyone around us about that, and how do we make sure Jesus is "The reason for the season"..... Well, We talk about Jesus and it being His birthday a lot.... Christmas Eve we go to my church and have a service.... Christmas Morning we have a manger scene set up...But the Baby Jesus is missing on Christmas morning (I have hidden it in the house) and the kids have to Find the baby Jesus and put Him back in the manger before we can open presents....You can't have Christmas without Jesus Then when we get to the grandparents house, Paw Paw reads the Christmas Story from the book of Luke.... We then have a cake with a candle in it and sing happy birthday to jesus..... I say all that to say this as well... My daughter every year goes to see Santa and tell him what she wants for Christmas... She makes cookies and sets them out for him.... We also make reindeer food and spread it in the front lawn .... My kids have to go to bed early so Santa will stop by... And there will be a present marked...from santa.... I don't think we are being sacreligous, nor do i think my kids will never understand the meaning of christmas.... Take this for what it is, just wanted to give my oppinion about how to celebrate Christmas since it seems to be the popular thing to do....Oppinions are like belly buttons.....everyone has one!
