| 2 weeks and counting until i am back at fort living room having great sex with the wifey. and i will then be a PFC(private freaking civilian) again. i cant wait until tht day. so very close but so far away. we arent doing anything else around here other than chilling making our commander look good. which brings me to something really funny. the commander decided tht everyone in the company had to take a pt test before we leave country. well they took it this morning and since i took one not to long ago i didnt have to take. but back to the story. after the pt test i was awakened by my buddy salinas to go to breakfast. well he then told me tht the commander failed his pt test it was great. i couldnt help but to laugh. well tht is about it from me i am going to go now. but before i go i must say one thing. | howdy howdy howdy, yeah i know it has been forever since i updated but yeah my computer has officially taken a shit and there is no fixing it now. but anyway i am still doing great over here. still working my tail off on a daily basis. Still doinbg missions left and right with less than 3 weeks left in country. But i figured i would update everyone on everything. But all in all things are still the same over here. still dealing with an idiot comander and and 1st Sgt. and they are getting even worse towards the end. but whtever it is almost over and i wont have to deal with them anymore. i love you babygirl i will talk to you soon ad i will be home soon. banister is out(of his mind tht is) | | |
| Babygirl's droppin an entryHey everyone, it's just me. Thought it'd be a good idea to let you know that Jonathan's laptop kinda went kaput. Ok, it *really* went kaput. It is DED. So there shall be pretty much no more entries from the boy. Maybe an occasional one here or there, but sorry, that's it.

| Wow wht a week!!!Yeah it has been an interesting week. i went out with 2nd platoon on another mission this week. It was only 5 days so it wasn't that bad. i was in the dozer most of the time and that made things pretty easy. and we had a nice place to stay in the evening times. Granted yeah we slept on cots but it was in tents with great a/c. It got so cold at night i was shivering in that thing. And then the DFAC don't even get me started on that thing. but since you twisted my arm i tell you bout it. i felt like i was at Denny's or something back in the states. They had real plates, real silverware, and real cups. it was great. The work wasn't too bad either. We were just knocking some stuff over and setting up some texas t-walls. the "fun" part though was about the 3rd or 4th day when we had a car come through our Area of operations(AO) See we had the little area of the road blocked off to civilian traffic but everyday somebody would not know how to read and would cross the line of engagement for our security and they security would shoot a warning shot at these ppl and they would stop back up and go around another way. Well this day a car decided to be stupid and instead of stopping on the warning shot he speed up and of course our first thought was a VBIED or Vehicle born IED another words a car bomb. so some some of our guys shoot as well and one of the NCOs i was with shoot the guy in the neck. long story short the guy was just an idiot and couldn't read no bombs or anything so we were all safe. I guess this guy also didn't understand that when shoot at stop. i mean come on if you were being shoot at you think you would stop and see what the heck was going on and why are these guys shooting at me but not this guy. But anyway that was my week. i am still here and kicking. tomorrow i have a PT test so that i can get my E4 so be thinking bout me in that. banister is out(of his mind that is)

i feel like garbage but i passed that damn pt test this morning it took everything i had to pass that run but i did it and then today after lunch SSG Mac came up to me and shook my hand said congrats and that he already had put my paperwork in to receive my E4. | | |
| TOP 10Well i wanted to update but had no clue as to what to write so i figured i would give to a couple of top 10s. So here goes nothing.
TOP 10 things i hate about iraq! (not in any order)
1)the cold weather in Dec. and Jan its the desert for goodness sake
2)My unit the compander along with the 1st sgt are morons!
3)the NCOs in my platoon. Sgts who arent NCOs at all. (there is a difference get with me later i'll explain)
4)The dreaded heat. when we cook our MREs we dont use the heater in the meal we let it sit in the sun for 5 minutes same result.
5)Not having my babygirl to lay with at night.
6)The internet here. Most of the time it is offline or there is so many people on that you cant get service.
7)AT&T phone center. charge an arm and a leg to call home when SpaWare phones are only $.04 a minute.
8)Damn iraqi insurgents putting those IEDs in the roads and shooting mortars and bullets at us.
9)big stars to inculde athletes that make 10x as much as me and i am risking my life everyday.
and last but not least
10)having to go less than 45 mph everywhere you go
TOP 10 things i miss about home
1)my sexy wife Jamie or babygirl as i call her
2)my big comfy bed that i sleep in with my wife
3)my own car that i can drive whenever i want
4)My friends
5)My churches Bethel Baptist church in New Caney Tx and Oak Grove Baptist in Harleton Tx.
6)My own house with no one except me and my babygirl living in it (unless you come visit sometime just give me a warning before you drop in other than that you are invited anytime)
7)My buddies Jack, Crown and Jose. (if havent meet these guys get with me later)
8)homemade cooking by the 2nd best cook around (my wife but tht is only because she learned from the best, me)
9)my family(nick, jess, justin and my mom)
and last but for damn sure not the least
10)SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX anytime day or night SEX ( my apologies to my younger readers)
